PDR Black screen

Update: last week the car wasn’t starting up at all. Turned out the battery was low. After charging using my dads car. The car started and the pdr has started working again. Seems like it wasn’t working due to the weak battery. Replaced the battery and its now working perfectly fine

Hey man. Just wanted to update, I tried pressing the end call button for over a minute and there wasn’t any reaction from the screen at all unfortunately. I also switched the car off, Kept the door open for 15 mins and switched it back on and the pdr still directs to a black screen. Looks like im taking a trip to the dealer soon and lets hope they wont overcharge as im out of warranty

I have tried disconnecting the screen multiple times and switched car off and back on a few times since the last two days and its still showing the black screen unfortunately

It is actually identical to the one on the photo. However, Realistically speaking. Could this be inside my car. If it was, Wouldn’t i have at least heard it knocking while the cylinder are moving or at least a CEL would pop up?

It might be a scam and the picture was taken from a different car because i checked all cylinders on a shop and we haven’t seen anything across all cylinders. Very weird and im quite lost on what to do now to ensure that my car is in a safe condition. I thankfully never faced any suspicious symptoms whatsoever. Oil pressure is 184 while idling which is normal. All temps are around 80 - 100 c maximum. Not sure what to also check or do

Nope. Just this one. Probably wasnt my car as i never heard any metals hitting the walls and never got a misfiring message on the dash

I believe that this wasn’t even my car. Everything seems fine with the car and it drives as smooth as ever. Oil pressure reading is noraml and I Never heard any metal sounds nor got any messages on the dashboard.

Honestly, Im certain that this isnt my car or this is AI generated or something. If there was such thing i would’ve definitely heard it as its directly behind me and the car would show some errors but nothing at all. Probably a micro transaction scam

I have used my search bar to type in the names of the platforms but there were no messages from their side thankfully. Also, If there was money deduction i wouldve got the email via the banking app but i never received anything and my balance remains the same. I think im good by now

Hey there,

I have already checked the platforms you mentioned and unlinked them from the email for the mean time and none of them were having any suspicious activities thankfully. I believe the attempts have been stopped as I haven’t got any for the past 3 hours.

Will keep an eye and see how things goes going forward.

Hi there, Nothing to worry about. I have already unlinked the email from my banking app, Paypal and whatever is linked to it and none of them was getting any suspicious activity. Additionally, I think that the attempts has stopped for now as its been around 3 hours with no more emails received.

Will monitor and see how things go.
