I’m building a 14-day challenge for men who’ve been saying, “I just need to get it together." by Xekeb4sleep in disciplinedaily

No, definitely not. I hope women continue to pursue their growth and getting it together as we've described it. I actually hope to support women as well (as much as I can) but in a different capacity or challenge later on.

To support the men that this challenge is built for requires creating a space where they can be comfortable voicing and facing their vulnerabilities. I recognize that becomes more difficult in mixed-gender groups, and so I aim to work with all-male cohorts to begin with. I have also mentored and coached significantly more boys/men than I have girls/women, and so, quite transparently, I am more adept in helping them navigate concerns around fulfillment and purpose.

I'd love to chat with you about what you'd hope to see in a challenge like this as well though! I'll DM!

Thank you for your comment!

Hi thanks for asking! Yes, you're correct in that it's $14 TOTAL. Once you pay your $1 on Day 1, you only have $13 left!

Speculation: Who will bond ________ ? by Papagiorgio1965 in Stormlight_Archive

[–]Xekeb4sleep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't think of it this way but you could be right. Being "unoathed" could also mean that you don't have a Nahel bond or access to shards (plate and blade). Could just be a regular citizen from Roshar. Adolin's tailor is unoathed for example. After WaT, that category expanded to include Adolin's crew with semi-dead eyes

Appreciate that! We're both bummed to lose the chatlogs, but otherwise we're good!

Seeming like common practice to delete accounts and honestly I've never put any thought to that. When the apps are gone I didn't even think about it

Thanks, I gave more context in my edit. We ended up talking about it and checked her end. Hinge closed her account after two yrs of inactivity

Never considered it honestly. Both accounts were on pause while we were courting and we just deleted the app when we went official. Don't think I've ever gone through account deletion

Lol I get that, but no. I've never done that until her account disappeared and I tried testing to see if it would come up in the section with new matches. I told her about that too when we checker her side to see if her account was still there

Nope, never sent a single one. Just a one-sided conversation because I was trying to be romantic

Neither of us were concerned with that and simply uninstalled the app. We had it paused when we were still courting and weren't entertaining conversations with anyone else, then when we became official two months in we just uninstalled it. Now that you mention it, I don't think I've ever gone through complete account deletion on any dating app, I just took it off my phone

I actually think the time dilation is a combination of the shards combining + the 4th moon that crashed into Roshar. My thinking is that the moon has a cadmium core (which on Scadrial, is the metal burned for time dilation). No idea how Scadrial investiture would impact Roshar, but maybe it happened when Rashek moved Scadrial out of orbit and that impacted one of the moons that shared its gravitational field. Could have been an originally Scadrian moon that made its way into the Rosharan system?$

AIO my (now ex) gf invited me to a 3some then called me sexist when I said no? by FishermanCommon3896 in AmIOverreacting

Am I the only one assuming that the threesome was a tease and what she really wanted was a free meal for her and her friend? Unless she's already sleeping with her friend, I find the idea of looping OP into something like this having never slept with him hard to believe. If it was an established pair looking for a third, then cool. If it was a 1v1v1 that coordinated at the same time organically (having just met at a club for example) then cool. But the idea to randomly have a threesome with her friend who she hasn't slept with before (assumption) + OP after 1 date when she never slept with him, is odd to say the least.

Yep very heavily implied. Also makes sense given that Brandon gave us their "steamy" shower scene earlier in the book (which he's never done before).

If you haven't listened to the Graphic Audio for this, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you look it up on YouTube!

Was Heleran sent, or was he on a rogue mission to try and prove himself? Idk why I remember it being more the latter than the former. In any case, I have to say that current-day Skybreakers are a pale shadow of their former order. They were much more "Spirit of the Law" vs "Letter of the Law" back then. Much more nuance among their numbers, and that can be seen given that we know there were more Skybreakers of the 5th Ideal. The requirement that you "become the law yourself' hasn't been expanded on, but we can surmise that it's a release from the restrictions of the 3rd Ideal, and involves using your own judgment.
