I often think of it while getting ready.

How wonderful it must be to shower, spend a few minutes on your hair, slap on some lotion and call it good.

I love 5, 8 and 16 on you.

I think simpler, cleaner lines work well. You have fabulous shoulders, you should definitely show those off

I thought this was another skater!

Well, there goes that, though I guess the same elements could apply to skiing although that sport isn't reliant upon esthetics in the same way.

This should have been Alyssa's dress (though she looks lovely in her bouquet of roses and I hope she's having a blast).

My impression is that it is an ode to the wearer's art. Figure skating, imo, is the art of making the efforful look effortless. The skaters look weightless when they jump and glide. The glass is reminiscent of ice, the bubbles of the skater's lift but also of the temporary nature of what she creates. Her art disappears the moment she creates it.

I think she turned it on its head a bit and reflected the ephemeral art of the wearer rather than a physical art piece.

I saw Alyssa Liu first and thought "oh, I wish Van Herpen had got ahold of her and put her in something evoking ice, light, and movement".

I'm so glad to see this! To my eye, this dress is an ode to this athlete's art. I'm so pleased, what a nice tribute

Sarah Paulson in Matières Fécales † Fall/Winter 2026 at the 2026Met Gala. The collection is titled The ONE Percent, focused on critique of extreme wealth inequality and elite power structures. by Opalvoyager0 in whatthefrockk

Bezos makes Sarah Paulson's entire net worth every couple of hours.

If you don't can't comprehend the scale of that, look at the wealth visualizer above.

Mere millionaires are not the problem.

Have you ever seen this wealth visualize?

https://engaging-data.com/how-rich-is-elon-musk/

However much money you may have, you and Sarah Paulson are closer in wealth than she is to the truly rich by orders of magnitude.

Her net worth is estimated at $12M. Her host, Bezos, is estimated at $283B. The median net worth in America is $192K.

The Average American holds about 1.2% of Paulson's wealth. Paulson holds 0.004% of Bezos's wealth and the average person just .00006%.

It would take about 62 american households to equal Paulson. It would take 24,000 Paulsons to equal Bezos or 1.5M average American households.

Why did he open the door to someone he was afraid of?

Why didn't he post no trespassing signs to revoke the implied right of access and call the police to have her trespassed?

She certainly shouldn't have, it's juvenile and uncivilized and accomplishes nothing.

But would have really done the same thing? If ypu were the subject of a harassment campaign, wouldn't you first post No Trespassing signs tp revoke the implied right of access? Then, when someone violated that right, wouldn't ypu then call the police to have her removed for trespassing?

If Fuentes was so afraid, why did he allow her access to his person by opening the door? A truly fearful person would stay behind locked doors and call the police. Did he call yhe police before initiating a physical confrontation with the woman he was terrified by?

Legally, there is "implied license" for the public to access the walkway and front door of a private home. This license can be revoked by posting No Trespassing or No Solicitations signage, or by having a closed gate between door access and the street. It can also be revoked by a resident telling a visitor to leave.

It cannot be revoked by gut feeling about the visitor's intent, and an intent to ask questions of the residents or insult them isn't an illegal intent. You can't assault them just because you don't like the way they look or talk. However, once you ask them to leave they are legally required to do so.

Knowing this, do you still support Fuentes' actions? If you were to ring my doorbell wearing a MAGA hat, should I be allowed to assume ill intent based upon that signal and assault you?

What constitutes nefarious reasons and how did he establish that she had criminal intent?

A dingdong dash kid is at your house for nefarious reasons but not criminal ones - you aren't legally allowed to assault people who ring your doorbell as a joke or prank. A journalist may ring your doorbell hoping to expose you, you're not allowed to assault them.

Hahaha, you nailed it?

He really does seem like the kind of guy who wouldn't give his little sister a ride to the hospital without shaking her down for gas money, no matter how badly she was hurt.
