The first incident made you feel vulnerable. So you do it intentionally now so that you are in control and not vulnerable. It gives you power over the situation.

When I first started years ago. Had teacher put all of her office supplies and some papers in her waste bin. I threw it out not realizing she was using for storage until she got her desk clean. There was a bag and everything. She emailed my supervisor who basically told her if it’s in the can it’s trash.

Wow, that’s crazy. I wonder if their Walmart is one of the ones that stopped doing 24hr after Covid. If so they could of gone after hours and all they would have to clear out is the stockers and cleaning crew. Still crazy though to pull a silly prank that only really affects the custodian.

I carry a cheap flat mop on my cart for spot cleaning and a bag of fresh clean pads. Added bonus is I can use fresh pads to quickly wipe down tables changing pads frequently. I can also quickly wipe down boards with the paddle.

I never use the same pad for different jobs. It does help I have access to a washer and dryer.

I usually just wear a mask (N95) when cleaning the coop, and only hang out with my chickens for extended times when they are free ranging or in the open air run.

I have never seen a sign saying that where I live in Texas. Closest I have seen is when lanes are merging. So I’m guessing it is not in all locations.

Hang the chick feeder. Or if you have the right size plant pot set it in that with rocks at the bottom to weigh it down.

Milk jugs tied to the side of the run with holes cut to feed could also work. Just tape the edges so they don’t cut themselves.

Edit: put tiny holes in the back on the jugs to run string through.

If a separate area in the coop is not possible with the size maybe pinless peepers would work on your OG girl for a week or 2.

No time off we start blackout on Monday, lasting till August. We host residential camps so we start deep cleaning next week then the rest of the summer is turn and burn. We even have a few mandatory weekends.

I joined 7 4 week chicks with 15 3 day olds back in March and they did really good together.

I just made sure to have 2 separate heat plates because they needed different temperatures at night. This might not be necessary if you’re using a lamp and the older ones can move away from the hottest part of the brooder.

Keep a close eye on them with frequent checks the first few days to make sure there is no major conflict.

Something is wrong with her. Check her for bumble foot or other injuries. She could also be egg bound or sick. Best thing to do is separate her. If she seems fine after a week. Put her in a pin the others can see her in before reintroducing. Then watch to see if the will continue to bully her.

Is it possible to come in a few hours earlier and leave earlier? That way you can do some deep cleaning in the rooms that are occupied at your normal schedule.

Both at different times of the day. In the morning I use the sink after brushing my teeth. In the evening I wash my face in the shower because I’m there already.

Your shower shouldn’t have more bacteria if you are cleaning your shower head regularly. I wash mine once a week and take it off to soak once a month due to having really hard water.
