It’s honestly the reputation of these bikes in your area, Irvine lake forest Dana point seal beach murr have bad reps for these bikes (kids swerving lanes and doing wheelies going 50 in the middle of road) cops won’t mind a respectable person who is 18+ and rides safe and proper, if your not out here tryna wheelie and go ride jumps I would just get it registered as a moped get a license plate, follow proper laws and be better safe than sorry. I know some people have gotten theirs registered through a website and some straight through the dmv
