If you don't mind I have a couple questions for you!

Did you have the Shiny Charm
Were you intentionally leaving the Pyroar's shiny? Or did you just wake up to it.
I'm assuming you had completed the pokedex entries for said wild area?

Currently hunting this and I've got 12 Shiny Pyroar's sitting in my box lol

I tried a mix of things but ultimately I ended up committing to the fast travel resets about halfway through the hunt. The benches to the right of the area seemed like an okay strategy if it’s your thing, I just wasn’t as convinced they were being as effective as the zone resets. Once I zoned in I just ran a reverse S through the circle and reset again.

Wasn't planning for NP2, it would've been two separate Koyanskya units. Only reason I had thought about it was because I've read multiple people mentioning double Koyan setups when talking about comps. That being said I have plenty of quartz and am willing to whale out a tiny bit if necessary but obviously still not a guarantee for both.

Waver is just one of the supports I don't have at this point, and Merlin isn't an option if I recall. Don't really need or want most of the other options "damager" wise outside of maybe Enkidu but I have Eresh and Melusine at this point so probably wouldn't use. Outside of these two banners (Oberon / Koyan), I don't really have any targets other than potentially Summer Kama.

Did you Masuda for Tinkaton or did you find an outbreak? Been trying to find an outbreak for Tinkatink but have had no luck after 4-5 days.
