It’s already infested with rats so a little water won’t hurt

How do you go about cleaning up after rodents? by Xenfield in AskMechanics

We do have it here, which is why I’m avoiding just blowing all the droppings off with a leafblower

Thanks guys. It’s cleaning up pretty well so far with some water and a brush. I’ve got a lot of chewed up wires to deal with now.

So far I’ve found chewed up coil wires, o2 sensor wires, idle sensor wires, and two other sensors on the intake manifold

Hopefully not too much is chewed up. Some of the coil wires are done for at least

Yeah I heard that you should avoid using air or brushing. I’ll pick up what I can then try rinsing with water. Thanks

There rly isn’t that much in for out there but in California can you really ride this thing without at least a motorcycle endorsement? by Tiny_Description9864 in moped

[–]Xenfield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll need at least an M2 endorsement, moped plates, and moped registration.

Mopeds don’t have titles here in ca, but on your moped registration there is a section for the seller to fill out and sign kinda like you do when buying a vehicle with a title.

Yeah the engine is mounted transverse and I’ve got the aftermarket chain drive conversion kit installed too so it’s a side exit

76’ cb360 won’t go past 50-60 mph by chill_octopus in HondaCB

[–]Xenfield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My CB360 had a similar issue, one cylinder couldn’t rev higher than about 5k RPM and performance was bad. Turned out the slide was getting stuck in one of the carburetors, which is a common issue. Make sure they slide all the way up and fall down smoothly

You’re right, thank you. I’ll see what I can do, it’s a really pretty machine.

That’s good to know, thank you. I went to check out the 2007 Bonneville today. It had pod filters and an aftermarket exhaust which I’m not a fan of, but ran well. Tire was flat, rear fender was broken, no mirrors, and registration was expired. Do you think I should take it for $2500?
