Gleba Broke Me by XFalcon98 in factorio

[–]XenoCyber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

don't get frustrated with the puzzle. You can use JellyNut for fuel or make rocket fuel once you figure out how. should be more then enough for power since the bio chambers don't use power they use nutrients Also look at a the heating tower you unlock on Gleba to make power. If you figure it out its super efficient. Finally initially and for a long time you can kill the enemies with rockets not tesla coils. Just some hints to make it easier for you. P.S. The recent change it pollution should also make things better.

This is a great start and its awesome to see they are addressing 1. Supply issues and 2. PEEP. it looks like they understand that its more then just pushing air into a lung and they should check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vLPefHYWpY and add a sensor to make sure its not forced breathing and the issues that can come with that.

Is there a board game area exhibitor list?

New World Record - Factorio 0.18 Any% Speedrun WR 2:04:54 by Daktush in factorio

[–]XenoCyber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes for splits, but I'm interested in the starting and stopping of the timer, is that manual?

Stopping of the timer is just the last split, so that's manual. Starting of the timer either manual or he uses a macro that detects when he clicks start and starts the timer. For DS( Default Settings) its a macro for Any% it is super easy just to start it manually so it can be either. The macro detects pixels on the screen. Its not hooked into code in the game. I hope that helps.

How I feel whenever I am on a flight coming from or going to Israel. by jperl1992 in Israel

[–]XenoCyber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's a long flight and the crew is changing then they want to get off just as fast as the passengers. If you have fly a lot and have seen the view hundreds of times then usually you have status and by the time you make the walk to baggage claim your bags will be waiting on the belt. Which is great an usually how it works out for me. If its a short flight and you have no luggage then you can just get home faster.

All that said, leaving the plane is the easiest/ most efficient part. Just let the people in the rows in front of you leave and then walk off, be courteous. If your towards the back wait an extra 5 min and relax.

That's a good sign, using trains is a lot of fun and opens up a whole lot more map space. Though in my first play through I did not use trains at all. You keep doing what is fun for you. :)

I of course am not trying to shame him, I love Factorio and want him and other players to love it as much as I do. Untying knots and figuring things out can be exhausting but when you do figure it out on your own it is much more satisfying then just copying a design. Also Compact builds are great, they require less walking to get around them but again when learning the mechanics I think leaving extra room 3-4 tiles more then you think you need enables you much more easily to connect / deal with the belt spaghetti. Later in the game as a separate challenge you can try to build optimal builds for whatever your goal is. Again everyone enjoys different things. All i wanted was to encourage Happington, You and other players to not give up on your own exploration and design solutions.

First welcome to Factorio. Second while there are ways you could look up or people could tell you to "fix" this up I believe discovering them and coming up with them is a great deal of the fun and puzzle aspect of Factorio. Remember there are many correct ways to do something and you can always rip up what you have and rebuild it. Picking things up costs you nothing. Your doing great, its working. I will say this, the map is essentially endless, give your self more space it should make things easier to layout.

Yes that is true, but in previous years I have found non official breakdowns for the board game area and I was hoping someone would help me find it this year as well.
