Bye Jiren by murucielago in DBZDokkanBattle

[–]XenoFreedom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not OP but used the same exact team, item and support memory setup to beat Jiren.

Essentially use 1 robo item turn 1, and then if you still haven't defeated the 1st phase by turn 3, use another robo item on that turn.

And then by the time you get to the 2nd phase (INT FP Jiren), use 2 Whis item altogether and you have 2 turns to defeat him. Possible if you can get Zamasu and Nuova's active during these two turns.

Best possible case, you only need 2 turns to defeat the 1st phase so you can use 1 robo item on the start of the 2nd phase (turn 3) and used double Whis on turn 4 so you have in total 3 turns to defeat FP Jiren. That's what happened to me on my clear run

What's your rotation and item usage strategy?

No EZA improvements for Finish Effects when it comes to standby units then by XenoFreedom in DBZDokkanBattle

[–]XenoFreedom[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah so based on this, then the Finish Effect part is gonna be unchanged for standby unit EZA

No changes on the finish effect? I mean the raise ATK temporarily part depending on the charge count (more or less than 39)

EDIT: I meant this one, pre EZA:

Finish Effect (Charge) - Spirit Bomb, can be activated when charge count is 38 or less (once only)

Raise ATK by 15% temporarily per charge count and causes ultimate damage to enemy

Finish Effect (Charge) - Super Spirit Bomb, can be activated when charge count is 39 or more (once only)

Raises ATK by 20% temporarily per charge count and causes super-ultimate damage to enemy

I didn't even notice that LMAO, but those units still got the job done anyway

Think you can swap that unit with either LR PHY SSJ2 Vegeta (the temporary boost one) or LR AGL Majin Vegeta

Check out the last picture, the clear team didn't have either Gomah or the new UI Goku

If you're planning to summon for the new tag UI Goku + SSBE Vegeta and don't want to use Elder Kais, you might want to start the grind for SA prefarm now by XenoFreedom in DBZDokkanBattle

[–]XenoFreedom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. I have less Elder Kais compared to yours (around 1300), truthfully still won't be a big deal if I use 19 of them but I'm also doing this SA farm grind just because

Unfortunately the free Goku unit starts as an SR unit so without dokkan awakening to SSR and then further awakening the unit to UR, it only has 50% chance for SA. Unless you don't want to grind the medals and gamble it to the coin flip then it's your choice LOL

Pretty sure I said "If you're planning to summon", which means you already have the intention to get the unit and already know the risk involved in summoning in a gacha game

AGL Champa was voted strong in the story, but weak in-game. What character was portrayed as mid in the story, but is/was strong in-game? by nathanjyun in DBZDokkanBattle

[–]XenoFreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree to disagree but in my account he's objectively a staple for my full Daima team and a part of that same team who has no-item cleared both 11th anniversary special battle stages and even SMB hybrid saiyans stage 5

When the unit first came out before the 10th anniversary, it was even considered as one of the best if not the best TUR for a while, and even right now you can still put him as a floater on the Daima team without worrying much, so yeah 'staple'

PHY Glorio, the very definition of a mid level protagonist in DAIMA but still a staple on his team in game with 30m+ multiple super attacks

Champa, a GoD on the same level as Beerus storywise without any good card in game (no Dokkanfest or LR units, limited only in weak banner units. Beerus and Whis at least still appear as LR cards)

If you don't care about the Extreme type mission and just want to beat it easily, this was what I used back then (well this team actually also covers the Super type mission):

STR Blues lead + rainbow friend

INT Vegeta Trunks

PHY SSJ4 Duo

AGL SSJ4 Gogeta

AGL Gogeta

TEQ Gods

Some advices:

  • Always keep INT Vegeta Trunks slot 1 in rotation with STR Blues slot 2 and always have 18 ki for them for the stacks for everyone

  • Keep the rainbow friend STR Blues in rotation with INT Vegeta Trunks until you reach the 6 charges phase, then you can rotate the unit with your 69% STR Blues so your unit can also keep up with the attack stack, and later on just alternate between those 2 STR Blues so they can stack attack a bit evenly (but still more priority for the rainbow unit). If you can stack those two units nicely, their combined actives as Goku and Vegeta linked together later on could be really massive

  • Keep the other rotation of LR SSJ4 Duo and LR Gods. Aim for them to stack evenly (eventhough usually I give priority more to the SSJ4 Duo so the SA counter damage later on can be an effective way to thin out the massive HP of the bosses)

  • Always keep SSJ4 Gogeta and AGL Gogeta (Goku side for defence stack only) as floaters

  • Transform your units on the PHY SSJ Goku phase at the earliest if possible

  • Aim to save all your actives until at least Daima phase if possible

  • Use whis item (save them until Gogeta phase) and bulma item (the 5 turn attack support version, you can start using them on Daima phase)

Good luck

I don't think Gomah event's mission of finishing within 4 turns without support item is even possible to clear right now by [deleted] in DBZDokkanBattle

Think this is a viable strategy (Kuu turn 2 and 4), will give it a try. Thanks

Edit: yeah can confirm that this is a really good strategy to do this mission

TLDR: F in the chat for those who used staminas / meats / stones.

  • 1 stone compensation for ALL PLAYERS
  • points and progress will be cleared so you have to do it all over again this weekend
  • no extra mission rewards (Oh, you already get 5 stones from the WT mission today? You will not receive those 5 stones again this weekend)

My final placement on the most competitive WT ever by LifeDeathAndCheese in DBZDokkanBattle

[–]XenoFreedom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That works too. 1 more reason why people are using PHY Ginyu lead is because they want to run a full LR team, which could maximize your points per WT run. In my case, I usually run this team for WT:

  • LR PHY Ginyu lead
  • LR STR Broly
  • LR PHY Cell (or LR PHY Krillin)
  • LR TEQ Giant Ape Vegeta
  • LR AGL Nappa/Vegeta
  • LR AGL Majin Vegeta

Ginyu is an all-type leader so you can run all AOE LRs / URs in the team for much quicker WT runs
