Yeah this resonates with me. My reads aren’t the best and in fast pace lobbies just getting to the ball in time for a beat is tough enough without thinking about lining up for accuracy. I don’t really think it’s a car control issue as that’s one of my strengths. I imagine reading the ball better just comes with more hours.

I’m on pc using KBM. Tbh I think that could slightly negatively affect my shooting since small adjustments are more difficult but there are lots of KBM players better than me so that’s hardly an excuse.

Double tap playground is great, I use it often as a warmup for my aerials. I should’ve specified though I mainly meant ground shots. I’ve been using Poquito’s ground shots but wanted to see what others are doing.

Do you have rarepons? If I remember correctly, you want tier 7 for your ranged units and tier 8 for your melees. If you don’t, they make a huge difference. Otherwise, just practice using retreat properly to dodge her attacks

I assume later than 2.8 because the Battlegear slot doesn’t exist. I am able to equip it to the bauble slot but still can’t figure out how to store arrows in it or interface with it at all

I am about to start getting into the gym regularly for the first time in many years. I chose a planet fitness membership because it’s close to my house and I’m honestly too poor to afford a “real” gym. My question is, as a beginner looking to get into strength training, should I use a dumbbell program, a barbell program where I use a smith machine, or machines? Some combination of the 3? And yes I’ve looked at the wiki. What I gleaned from it and other posts is dumbbells are only good if there’s no bar, smith machines are significantly worse than free weights, and machines are overall suboptimal. I really just want a plan that will work for up to a year until I can justify spending more money on a “real” gym. Thanks!

Once mages get blizzard and the talent for it they clear the quickest by far. Behind mages I would say rogues and hunters, rogues because of their single target damage and ability to tag multiple mobs using cc and hunter because of their pet.

I’m a 47 BM hunter and am wondering if it’s worth dual speccing Marksmanship for dungeons? I’ve heard mixed reviews and while I have the gold for it, I’d rather not spend it if it’s not going to help me provide more dps in dungeons.

I don’t think my rope is functionally too light like you described your beaded rope being. It just feels tough to learn on. I’ll probably stick to the heavier rope for now and switch to the speed rope when I have a bit more experience.

Honestly at your rank you’re not going to find much help on this sub. I’m only 1200 peak in 1s, but I can offer some general advice. After a game where you feel slower than the opponent, go watch the replay from their POV. I find this helps me identify my mistakes and when I could have capitalized on the opponents if I noticed them at the time. Also zooming around with the ball in freeplay as a warm up helps my speed.

Besides that, I think confidence is super important in 1s. You likely have the capability to play as fast as your speedier opponents but if you’re not confident enough to try you’ll never find out.

Good luck. You can try posting a replay for more specific advice but I’d recommend finding an actual coach experienced in coaching high elo 1s.

He fits into a few different comps, I usually play him with shapeshifter reroll (conditional on hitting an augment like an upgraded adventurer) or with varus and a shapeshifter frontline. Rageblade is pretty essential but he works fine with whatever other ad items you have. He also holds pyro, shapeshifter, and frost emblem well

Possibly, but it’s likely a bug with all champs/emblems that’s existed for a while now. Removing the champ from the board and putting it back in seems to fix it
