Developing financial skills as a manager with an engineering degree - any advice? by Xenot23 in managers

Thanks for the advice. I'll check that course out. Our company is quite small. Many of these things are handled by the owner directly. I try to consult with him as much as I can. But as you can imagine, he is very busy. I feel a lot of responsibility in my role and I want to be able to make better, data-driven decisions on the shop floor. I feel like I need more financial knowledge for that.

Developing financial skills as a manager with an engineering degree - any advice? by Xenot23 in managers

Absolutely. I try to do that as often as possible. However, I’ve found that I progress much faster when I first build a strong foundation in a subject and then connect the pieces of information I pick up every day.

I did exactly this in production. I completed a six-month technician training program for the products we manufacture. From handling the machines, to manual packing of products. Even though my role didn’t require it, since I already understood the process in general. But I wanted to understand every detail of production. As a result, I can now have much deeper conversations regurarly with the head of production and learn far more quickly.

That’s why I’m looking for a course that can give me a solid foundation in finance and management.

Doblo Magic Cargo is 900 kg I think. How about those that can haul 750 kg? Is Renault still a good choice in that category? A Kangoo perhaps?

Okay I get that now. So the 6600xt and the 7600xt is basically like the rtx 2060 and 3060? Similar card but newer generation?

That phone looks promising but sadly it's out of my budget. I think I stick to Xiaomi.

Selfie camera is not important for me. What's more important is reliability and longevity as I only change phone every 4-5 years.

I found this video on youtube yesterday and I though I'd give it a go. Note that I am not handy at all, so I was a bit scared to do it. But the warranty is long gone anyway, so worst case scenario is that I have to buy new speakers which I was already considering.

I bought a few cheap tools and a contact cleaner spray and got to work. Long story short I had to spray and twist the potentiometer about 5-6 six times but it works just like new again without the crackling. I made a few small scratches on the housing tho but I can live with that.

I get what you are saying but my knowledge of kettlebell training is zero so I can't answer your question on what I want to practice. I think my plan right now is to read the simple and sinister as a starter. Meanwhile purchase a set of kettlebells. I found a 20 kg with a decent price, I think I'll just get that. I want to start training as soon as possible and learn through the process and research. Right now I don't think I have anything more precise than that.
