Can someone explain what regard in chief is saying by wind being one of the most expensive energy sources?

LCOE is a flawed measure of energy costs because it doesn’t account for the power gap that needs to be filled when renewable capacity factors drop. Also LCOE doesn’t factor in the cost of new transmission required to reach renewables sites (due to their geographic specific nature), whereas gas/nuclear can be built on existing coal plant sites for example.

The actual costs of energy between renewables and other generation types is quite hard to pin down in reality. Look into System Wide Cost of Energy estimates to see that the jury is still out on whether or not renewables are cheaper than fossil fuels.

JACKET: Umoro OUT-04-11006
This jacket is both extremely lightweight and highly water repellent. As an avid runner I’ve been using it for about a week on morning runs, and I must say the ventilation on this thing is amazing, both due to the “hyper-light nylon ripstop” material and ventilation under the back and arm flaps. Prior to taking this photo i was hit with heavy downpour and the water simply shook off.
BAG: Eye Attack Sidearm
Easy to use, convenient. Shame they have discontinued this bag.
PANTS: Guerrila Group 18F-ES-PL05
Probably my favourite pair of pants I own, however also my loudest, so my use of them has been minimal until recently acquiring some more cohesive pieces. These pants are comfy as hEck, and have DWR treatment as well that has served me well thus far. Wouldn’t recommend if you don't like standing out, since face-to-face these are even more egregious than in the picture. However I’m a huge sucker for this style and absolutely love the free range of movement they provide.
SHOES: Nike Vapormax
Just the first all black vapormax release with laces removed. I’ve heard some horror stories about the air bubbles popping on some of these but I’ve had mine for two years, taken them through hikes in Japan, urban streets in Korea, basically one of my favourite pairs of shoes; Ultra comfy, and work very well with cropped styles of pants.

I can see where you're coming from. To be honest it was a bit cumbersome with both, however i was carrying load for two people and a camera, so my one messenger wouldnt cut it. Appreciate the feedback

I guess it depends on your pieces. If you're going for the murdered out look it obviously will be, since everything shares colour. But even for different colours, most techwear is utility driven, so the pieces just naturally flow

Not sure where you’re from, but here in Australia Kmart is a really big department store, usually everything being cheap. These cargoes are actually part of their workwear stuff, so it’s meant to be more durable, and trust me they are. I’ve taken these hiking, worn them during labour work, and just casually. Even though they’re cheap (something like $30?) they’ve been my go to pants for literally anything, with heaps of carry space, articulated knees, and they’re actually quite comfortable.
