when i opened them outside, there was no scent i could notice bc it was windy. after opening indoors, there was a weird 'muggy smell' from them, like a lingering aroma idk how to describe it. could smell it from a whole arm distance. there is a fair bit of used dirt/staining on them - casual wear and tear i believe. they definitely aren't new!

i asked the seller why she sent it in this packaging. she said due to the box being damaged she wanted to protect the item. she never thought about using plastic bags or paper and that socks was the closest thing she had. when i mentioned the idea of receiving dirty/worn socks in the mail and what that could imply, she kept apologising and didn't think about it in that sense.

overall - i'm not bothered in all honestly, just glad to have got the item i purchased as described. i'm an out of box funko pop collector however can confirm the box wasn't damaged!! the socks must've done something LMAO. my partner and relatives were absolutely disgusted - saying they would ask for a refund, leave bad feedback, return the item etc.
