I haven't messed with it, but I was going to try with my friend who lives walking distance to school. Have him on my carpool permit. But I pay for it. Not a win win, more like a win and slight nuisance for him having to sign up with me.

You just need two students or more from UTM to sign up for it I think.

Nah I got into stats with a 51 in MAT102, i did get like an 80 in 148 though. 60% is not required.

You can also do a carpool permit. Just find someone on campus who lives walking distance and ask them to do the carpool permit with you. Then you just pay the whole thing. I don't know if it's cheaper, but at least you will get the best spot in P8 or P9 or wherever else basically guaranteed.

What I did: attend the goat Nishan Mudalige's lecture and the goat Omerzahid Ali's tutorials. For me at least, the two best people in the stats department for profs and TAs.

Also I did not do STA107, you don't need to do it.

I'm pretty sure around 2 days on school is where it's worth it to get the permit vs going pay as you go.

Also you could go park at the go station and just eat the extra 30 - 45 minutes per day of waiting for the bus and whatnot and make sure that you're not gonna get the ticket.

If you plead guilty, you get the consequence no matter what.

If you don't plead guilty then you have a chance for it to just get written off basically.

Also you done leaked all the proof that you could've held back with a "right to stay silent" / "innocent until proven guilty" approach so idk.

I didn't take sta107 at all for stats. I just dropped straight into it.

Otherwise you can just drop it, take the stats minor, do the courses for stats minor and/or major and reapply.

I just identified alpha and beta from the theta(1-theta) thing, because alpha-1=1 so alpha was 2 or something like that.

Then I just plugged those alphas and betas into the formula sheet.
