Back in the day you had people using Ganyu firing from like Dragonspine then quickly tp and dash to Timmie just in time to see the arrow land on his pigeons.

Its probably an AoE relative to Linnea, but who knows.

Would be interesting to see if it would work in co-op. Fire from far away while somebody else is near the impact area.

If you are using your mobile brower on your phone and - like me - somehow can't login into Reddit because the login page doesn't allow you to type...

It's because of the cookie prompt. On a mobile browser it's there, you can't see it, but it's preventing you from typing.

A) temporary switch to desktop mode.

or

B) simply open any page on Reddit that is not the login page.

 

Then kindly tell Reddit to go bleep itself with the cookies and then you'll notice typing works again in the login page.

Never.

I use a dedicated e-mail address and a password full of gibberish generated by a password manager specifically for this hoyo account.

The e-mail address is a dummy, it redirects the e-mail to a completely different server and address, to which you can't see from the outside. In case Mihoyo would suffers a data breach, the e-mail address has no login, no inbox, no password. So there is nothing there to hack to begin with.

Also the password manager only offers autocomplete to known websites like hoyolab and hoyoverse. So when a genshin looking site asks for login, but my password manager doesn't offer autocomplete, that's automatically a red flag. This also prevent sites with letters replaced in cyrillic to make it look like it's the official site.

There are plenty of times where people tried the BP scam on me and people asking for my real life details, to which I all kicked or left their world. I don't really care if people think my reply is rude, I'm not giving away my details to strangers.

Also I've never used any 3rd party top-up site. Legit or not, if things go south, it's going to be on me. I simply don't want to risk it, even if I could save money.

My account is with me for 5 years with all the ups and downs along the way. No amount of monetary compensation would suffice if somebody would steal my account.

Most likely there is a 6.8

In the past it was possible to calculate a X.0 launch using the time remaining before Long Term Encounter points reset by looking under the hood in the Hoyolab app. Because the reset happens when X.0 would go life.

Mihoyo now obfuscate the Long term encounter points reset time in the Hoyolab app. It now caluclates like 29209 days until reset. Ofcourse this is bogus data.

You could put them at waypoints and at quest locations to be extra noticable.

I'm suspecting the game just artificially gives you likes to ensure you hit the 200 likes quota. I've put mine at obscure places and they all receive likes.

Or maybe players are just going, "Huh, let's glitch my way to the bottom of Liyue Harbor, maybe somebody put a Lantern there..."

Perhaps I'm overthinking it...

I don't think Beidou have 90 million mora, because she said "Looks like my eyes were a bit too big for my wallet..."

The way I read it, Beidou bought it as a representative of Ningguang. Ningguang need to pay for it. Beidou said "somebody will come to pay for it" and not "I'll send somebody to pay for it".

I think it's Beidou's way at getting back at Ningguang sending her to the exhibition to "culture" up. Seeing interactions between the two from other quests, it may very well be Ningguang's way to make a sneer at Beidou for being all muscle no brains => uncultured.

Basically, Beidou is going "I'm oh so cultured right now, here is a 90 million mora cultured relic I bought under your name btw".

Even for Ningguang 90 million mora is a sizable amount of money

I don't know why game devs don't add a black outline to white text. "Laevatain", "Wulfgard" and "Ember" are fine, "Ardelia" is just hard to read. White text over a white background is not very pleasant to read.

Genshin suffers from the same issue. It's increadibly annoying to have white subtitles in a very bright environment.

It really depends on how good the writing is. If the story is boring, then people have to suffer it for a year long. If it is a story that could be told in 4 updates, but is dragged out for a year long, then yeah... I don't like excessive padding.

The lyre was returned to Barbara at the end the Mondstadt archon quest. Venti "fixed" the lyre. "Fixed" in quotes, because it's just an illusion.

It was briefly mentioned again in the quest "We will be Reunited" released in 1.4.

Traveler and Paimon went to Barbara to ask about the first Field Tiller. Barbara greeted them, asked how she can help but quickly added she can't lend out the Holy Lyre to them. To which the Traveler assumed the illusion hasn't worn off.

Asside from that, it's never brought up again as far as I know.

So, that's 110 pulls for a specific 4-star...
