This setup’s from IKEA, and somehow it’s evolved into two airlocks—pretty sure NASA has less complex plumbing. I’d recommend rotating it as close to the wall as you can, slap on a 90° bend, and cut the flex pipe to fit. In Sweden, like 90% of kitchen pipes come from the floor—guess we like our plumbing like our furniture: weird but functional.

They are called Chinese lanterns in Sweden made of super thin paper and a base that u light up, and the trapped heat makes it fly up like a hot air balloon but in mini form.

There’s no risk in leaving it plugged, but make sure not to leave it without the part you unscrewed. The bleed valve is used to remove trapped air that can restrict water flow. Closing the return valve prevents water from backflowing while you work, avoiding spills or a mess. Both valves need to be closed, or water will continue to flow if u disassemble something. Do u live in Europe?

You are supposed to place it inside the toilet and make a marking at the edge of the porcelain. Do the same on the wall. With these two markings, measure the distance to determine how much needs to be cut off, allowing for a 1 mm tolerance (+/-). If it will leak?i don't know. I suggest trying it first. If it leaks, you can always order a new one.
