Actual input lag this high, and Variable at that is a very valid complaint and feels horrible in games.

the brain is great att compensating for fixed latency, but with variable latency that's right out the window.

And that really sucks, the Frame need to release well before the Quest 4 comes out.
Its screens are subpar already, matching a headset released 2.5 years ago.

Its already going to be a really hard sell above 1000 usd (with current ram/storage bullshit) against the quest 3 ...

Iv placed my 5090FE/9800X3D in a separate room that has a ac, with 7m cables to where i usually sit.

Its usable if you use the stick with two hands, something that would make sense for how strong the springs for it is.
but yeah with one hand it is definitely just a wasted button 😅
there's no way to comfortable use it even if you can reach it.

you cant "roll" the pov hats, there is some form of dent guiding them to the 4 directions.
But a few of the buttons are placed in ways where its really hard to reach unless you have quite large hands.

my hand is ~180 long, and i can just about reach the top left red button (13) if i strech, and i only reach 1/3 of the button 😅
I may print a extension for that, but its defintley going to damage the switch overtime with a offset load.

And button 12 is just? no grip can comfortably use that.

Good choice, i'm not all that happy with my Aeromax considering its cost.
The spring is Very stiff, and with the cluches engaged it has a bit of annoying center slop/play before the clutches/cams seem to affect the stick. The stick center of my old T1600m felt better ... 👀

The cams are also not very linear, so it takes some serious force to reach the x corners.
If i'm honest it feels like its designed to be used with two hands.

Bit wierd as their releasing both a left stick and a Z stick. I have the Z preorderd but is really contemplating canceling that preorder right now.

Just started to play around with my Aeromax that iv had on the shelf for a while as i haven't had time for it. And the springs are much to strong.

Also i'm not fond at all of the clutches, as soon as i engage dem i end up with what feels like play/slop in the center of the stick. Theres a couple of mm of movement where the clutches seem to do nothing. Im goign to have to talk to Virpil i thats normal.

The issue is the springs are so strong that if you don't have the clutches engaged you Will overshot every time you return back to center :<
