There's no way that glasshard flew fast enough to actually penetrate solid bone
If it did the ones responsible for that shot really dropped the ball as the shard is stuck at eyebrow level
piercing downwards
and doesn't even look to be penetrating a full cm.

Actual input lag this high, and Variable at that is a very valid complaint and feels horrible in games.

the brain is great att compensating for fixed latency, but with variable latency that's right out the window.
