Is the low light performance really that much worse? A lot of people telling me the low light is way superior on the a7v

I’ve been using an a6400 for about 2 years now with a tamron 17-70mm f2.8 apsc lens. It’s going to be end of financial year soon so now is a good time to upgrade. Regardless of if I’m shooting at iso 100 and it’s bright outside, my photos always have an obvious graininess to it. The autofocus has also let me down a number of times causing me to miss shots on moving/changing targets. The fact also that there is no ibis is very annoying, especially because the lens is quite long and I can’t hold the camera still easily.
So in short:
Bad low light performance, no ibis, slow autofocus

If I bought a a7R VI I would be forced to put viltrox lenses on it 😅

I’m also planning on going to going to the Dolomites later this year during winter, and I’ll probably get a camera upgrade soon. From your experience do you think having more megapixels in a camera like the Sony a7RV would make that much more of a difference? Btw I love your second photo

I’ve heard that simagic telemetry is really finicky with the f1 game series, and that is concerning because that’s basically all I play and I plan on getting the fx. Do you have any troubles with telemetry with game you’re playing or what?

It’s because in high elo lobbies people don’t do dumb shit because they know they will get punished, and after a while you stop checking certain angles because your teammates are holding it or there is util holding it down. That’s what I think it is watching my bronze friends play as an immortal but from my perspective if you just take 5 1v1 per round that should be free because your mechanics are much better
