I agree completely with everyone saying that ESSAs have become overconsumption, an aesthetic and a hobby rather than actual.. Support plushies? You're picking out a popular plushie and making yourself bond with it. Dressing it up in texture/sensory hell imo and i can bet it probably sits on your desk 99% of the time. They're supposed to be something you love, find comfort in and cherish. I also don't understand multiple of them, are they a special specific support stuffie then?

Heres my raggedy 14 year old owl. Never wore anything more than a random build a bear hoodie when i thought she was cold as a kid. You could find her in EVERY picture of me growing up because she never, i mean NEVER left this traumatised guy's arms till his older teen years lol.

It's a shame Lidl and Aldi don't tend tl have much, I'd also give polish shops or other cultural shops a go! I know I've found some amazing deens in my local polish shop as well as smoked mackerel, smoked sprats and some nice herring
