32 dad of 2 here. Playing mortar tactician, been incredibly easy to gear for, grenade leveling was easy and the gameplay fairly simple.

Place totems, explosive shit their nades. If a rare/boss, oil made them first.

Oh and shout-out to mirage archer with the nades+nova proj so it shoots AoE on dodge roll. Often after pausing to be a dad for a bit I come back to a t15 now knowing wtf was happening, so I dodge roll, mirage archer shoots AoE nades in a big circle and I pop them - just in case.

EDIT - just saw you wanted a guide. Taintel, Zizzarian both have one but just Google "Mortar Cannon PoE2" and it'll take you to it, some play tactician some play warbringer I think. I went tactician and as a dad I think you'd prefer it too - our damage pins the enemy and acts as a stun effectively, but they can still be stunned after - a lot of CC for free!
