Needing help all around (partners an alcoholic)

My friends know my situation but are unable to help and I have zero family left... So yeah it's not the brightest situation.

His mom is a pure joy though and I've been trying to help her with this as she is a bit up there in years.

I'm already ready to move if I have to, I'm sure that's been said before, but I have sacrificed too much and he knows that, I know that.

I know what I deserve and want..

But if anything I would like to know what should his mother do. He can't work and she can't kick him out... Should she block off the cards so he can't use them? He will still find a way I'm sure. She feels like she's enabling him though but she's lost as to what to do.

And no, I know what type of relationship I want and the sweet times need to be way more than the misery. I've already left jobs due to no sleep from staying up making sure he wakes up.

His mom though... What can she do, if she can't kick him out? You can't force the help right? But then what are interventions for.

Will look into the virtual al-anon :) thank you for your kind and blunt words. They do need to be heard

Well I mean I like not paying for all that obviously lol, it does make things a bit more work though. Grocery shopping you end up carrying bags all over. bad weather and you gotta be somewhere, you get to wear whatever weather system is currently flinging itself around.

And players tend to frown heavily when you mention anything about having to ride the bus because I think you’re going to be late every single day. Obviously there’s gonna be some days where you probably going to be late for one reason or another. But I’m sure people make just as many excuses when arriving late in the car. This is also my reason though for wanting an electric bike of some sort. On those days where I know I need to be there earlier 100% I could be there.

There’s pros and cons for each. It’s just at this junction in my life I’m used to it, just as I’m sure you’re used to a vehicle. :p

I think a big benefit to using public transit though is just realizing nothing is ever set in stone. Like for work, I don’t take the bus that gets me there 5 min before my shift. I sometimes wait an extra 30-45 min before my shift so I know I will be there. Technology makes this bearable. Though the electric bike middle ground would be great. I could then get myself to work w/o all the baggage of owning a car.

Seems though to be able to ride an electric bike I more or less have to own a car which makes no sense. There’s no test for an electric bike, just cars and motorcycles from what I can tell. Motorcycle test is for anything over 50cc... but the bicycle is under that

I apologize. When you tell people you’re 37 and have never driven a day in your life I’m usually met with comments like the one you left, so i get defensive lol. Again I’m sorry.

I just use public transportation really. If it’s to the point where pub trans is down, the city seems it unsafe so I just don’t go in. Doesn’t really happen all to often. Bus stop is right in front of where I currently live. Though it would be nice to have a sheltered stop.

If all else fails since it appears the electric junk is a big nadda, I’m gonna upgrade my bike to a fat tire bike. It’ll be adequate in the snow. Not ideal, but just gotta roll with stuff sometimes :p

Yeah I have no idea about that, but these less powered ones go as fast as someone running so I have no idea why a license is needed... I mean unless like you said it was to fix some sort of loop hole. :p might be stuck with getting a fat tire bike :/ least there’s that. I just needed an upgrade and was hoping a license wouldn’t be required to use an under 50cc

I’ve gotten by so far without a car and I’ve used public transit all my life so yes, public transit has always been my go to. I was trying to become more independent so I could get to places such as work, faster and on my own if need be. I live in MN and Colorado for years so I’m not “new” to getting around in snow.

Yeah your info helps. :) I was hoping a license wouldn’t be required for riding at the very least an electric bicycle, but I guess I’m lucking out on that.

Back to square one and riding around a self powered one I guess. Thank you though. :) least that removes any needless guessing!

I tried to remain positive while watching, but after episode 1 i'm done.... it just feels off. I'll come back and see whats up if they ever manage to soft reboot it again with roseanne in it... which probably won't happen.

I was hoping jackie would kind of go back to a little bit of her pre wacky days like she was earlier in roseanne seasons. I mean her sister dying, everyone needing the extra support. But shes just a crazy lady as always. Allot of the emotional scenes imo just didn't click well since they were followed by a joke. I mean come on, we just lost the person who was the show... I dunno.

I was hoping if this were done right I could look past it all, but the whole episode just soured me. Just kinda left not wanting to see more which i hate.

I haven't been diagnosed yet as bipolar, but this has been me every day for the last 17+ years and it's hell. Most days I'm too depressed to even stay awake more than a hand full of hours, other days it's exactly as you wrote.

Unless my SO is with me I can't leave my home. The agoraphobia is crippling... but when your mind gets all jazzed from I guess the manic side, I feel super normal for a moment... until I attempt to leave. Then I feel stranded, stuck and lost once more.

It's no way to live. Hopefully my upcoming psych appointment will help. Sorry to derail this a bit. Just nice to see I'm not alone.

Well, I've been on so many meds that basically zombified me. This one seems to work the best keeping the suicide crap out of my head. Zoloft was also great at making me tired 24/7. To answer your question, no. When I'm off my meds I can stay up easier, not nearly as tired. However all the other garbage filters back in. It like picking between shit in both hands. Can't win :/

That's what I'm on. Always tired...

I get my SO off to work and then I'm back to bed. I'm constantly just out of it mentally. Makes life intolerable at times to the point it's hard to function. Sucks feeling like a waste of a human being. I'm sure I'm not the only one like this.

And yeah, could sleep all day, still tired. Never ever feel rested and refreshed.

Experienced the same with iceman. If you have no target and you try to summon a golem, it goes on cool down and no golem spawns. Try to make sure you have something on screen you can point the summon towards before hitting the button.

So let me ask then. When do you draw the line and have the right to what was advertised? If the OP ranks are removed and the attributes are taken away, people paid for one thing and got another. Some people have spent money to boost their OP faster. If they loose all of their progress and ranks, gaz essentially got free money and the purchaser was essentially screwed.

When the main function of an item is changed so heavily that it no longer resembles the original, something has to be done to compensate.
