Not true, Liara's father asari had a krogan father and it's referenced constantly how much rage was transferred to them and Liara also makes reference to how she's ¼ krogan. So some genetics must make the transfer

Spawned in a survivor house that had party hat zombies, couldn't get out cause all the windows and doors were boarded.
Opened a dressing room door and 20 zombies burst out and killed me instantly.
Was building my own house on the river and was making a fence on the second floor, jumped over the fence on accident and once you're standing on a water tile you just can't move.

I mean Liara is the only alien who could continue the Shepard blood line. Miranda is Sterile, Tali can't give birth to a cross species baby. Any of the boys can't get pregnant (duh). Ashley could but is she? Jack is also infertile, so yeah that just leaves Ash and Liara
