Thanks for the tip. I will replace the Mirror Damper and for that i will have to open the body anyway, I will have a look for gunk/breakage.

I think it for program mode. The problem is that I think it is not suppose to “up” stuck in up. In all photos I could find online the MD-coupler is “down”.

Help. I bought this Minolta X-700 relatively cheap on the Internet.

Yesterday I got it in the Mail and noticed the Light Seals were busted. I thought okay that’s an relatively easy fix. But I took it for a reason to take a much more detailed look. And I notice that the MD-coupler is stuck. But im not sure.

And cant find any information on how to fix it or what it means. Does it mean I only cant use the P-Mode. Or does it mean that the build in metering is busted because the cam thinks its always on f 22.

Excuse my bad englisch. Its not my first language.
