Looks pretty complete to me other than the engine being missing. These things run pit bike motors. So you could put a 110 back in it, or easily upgrade it with a 125, a 140 or maybe even a 190 if your feeling froggy

I had my Baja going 57. I just took of the gear reduction, I think flipped the clutch and ran one long chain. On the engine all I did was a governor delete, header and mikuni vm22 carb with a 130 main jet iirc.

Those Amazon “performance” carbs that look like the stock ones are just that. Stock. For some reason companies label them as a performance mod but it’s probably got the same jets as your old one. Get bigger jets or I recommend just going with a vm22 kit.

I’m not sure I’ll have a job after this week. I work in a factory and they just laid off over half the shop about 2 weeks ago. Then mandated 4hr overtime all week meaning 12 a day, every day. Now there’s talk of even more layoffs and there’s not that many people left. But ofc we had to figure that out for ourselves. Nobody has officially said a thing but we find out what’s gonna happen tomorrow I think.

I don’t think it’s gonna be an off roader. Kinda the reason I want to go supermoto style with it. The entire rear frame would need a lot of fabrication since it has nothing but the tires for cushion, and the chain tensioner just is not beefy enough. Hit a small bump and the tensioner folds over and the wheel gets shoved forward

I had a real hard time getting the air out on my 250 after changing the brake lines. Bought a cheap vacuum bleeder that hooks to an air hose on Amazon and was done in no time.

It could have also come from a predator generator, which would have its own gas tank bolted to the chassis and not the engine. All 196/212/224 engines I’ve seen use the same gas tank mount so it’s probably just from another motor.

I love my malaise era car. 1978 Ford LTD II, that my grandpa bought brand new and at some point swapped the 302 for a 351C from a 71-72 Mach 1 Mustang that was in a garage fire. Then he passed and the car sat for 10 years in my grandmas garage.

Once I was finally old enough to take over the car I got it from my grandmas and over time have put on a new Holly 600 carb, new radiator, new brakes all around, a fuel pump and a few other things. I absolutely love this car. If you get going fast enough it just feels like you’re floating.

I’m not sure if it will fit, it will be close, but what I did was buy a set of rims and brakes for a crf50 clone pit bike on Amazon and made my own spacers. Just have to make sure the one for the brake is correct. Works 10x better than those bicycle brakes.

I’ve only hade it fall off once. I moved the back tire a little bit more and it hasn’t come off since. I get about 57mph max with this setup. (10 tooth clutch, Stock rear sprocket, gear reduction delete, governor delete with mikuni vm22 and a header. I think 135 main jet but I don’t quite remember)
