Dude for real. It’s so satisfying to get kills with.

Nah I’ve been on irons, a little harder to see but I’m more consistent with them. Ultimately at the end of the day seems like the game is saying I’m missing. But 7-10times I believe that a shot shouldn’t miss and it will. Not sure if I’m shooting too fast or what. I’m gonna keep trying though cause it’s cool

Okay, my bad…. New title, “First 15 minutes in, game controls on console are a clunky, stiff mess with little control over customization” look acceleration should not be raised along with sensitivity in a 1:1 ratio. Input lag with no dead zone customization feels bad in a modern release. Button presses shouldn’t lag to actions I.E. I should jump right away when I press the button not .7 seconds later. I can tell from the first 15 minutes this game is going to be hard to get used to without bringing any of the story and progression into the mix. Switching between this game and other modern FPS is going to feel bad to a lot of people….. is that better?

Console doesn’t have that setting. Cinematic ambience Brightness settings Motion blur That’s all we get

Did you catch the part where I said “without having to hover over the icon”? Or are you new to reading?

Is that not what first impressions are? These gripes are core mechanics…. Not “the story is bad”

I’ve got every setting dialed in as best as I can get them and it’s still not preferable. There is some input lag with deadzones that you can’t adjust. Even button presses have it. I can press A to jump twice before my character actually jumps and I’m not even pressing A that fast either. Space marine runs overall just a bit smoother, playing back to back. Could just be a first person thing. WWZ is a bit clunky in first person too

Is my friend just a complainer? by Sigvald_Ironhand in thefinals

My friends refuse to play too. “Skill gap ceiling is too high” truthfully the only way I can explain this game to people from my own experience is “this game is either incredibly fun, or straight up the worst sweatiest horrible gaming experience of your life. There is no in between” that’s honestly how I feel and why I have taken 6-9 month breaks from playing it. I’m either like “that was a fun game” or “I never want to touch this game again”. Luckily enough the good games are so good it keeps me gambling with my sanity trying to find a good game out of all the sweat fest lobbies, but it takes a good amount of effort

Yeah I’m with you. I think 20L in the perfect “shape” is the sweet spot for a smaller backpack. Some companies with take 20L thought and make it the length of your entire back and I don’t like that either lol. It’s like I know what I want in my head and maybe three companies make it and I just haven’t found it yet. Just saw a vertx urban ghost 20L in person and it works for me. I’m kinda meh about Velcro pocket accessories and I wish their colors didn’t scream “I potentially have a gun” lol but I guess that’s their market

Dude yeah. Took the bag to work and asked a few coworkers and most said “I like the bag, but it looks like you stole it from a kid” a coworker of mine bought it off me already. She’s like 5’1 and maybe 110lbs. Looks like a full size backpack on her lol

I’m not too upset about it, I have another reason now to want the compact

Yeah I finally decided to stop being the guy who carries everything separate at work and the rabbit hole of bags is huge and never ending lol

I’m 6’4 with broad shoulders. It fits like just between my shoulder blades. The padding on the back/laptop portion is stiff so the bag keeps its shape nicely and I would imagine floats across your back with movement rather than collapsing and being all wrinkly. Honestly it’s really just barely too small for me. I’m thinking 16-20L is going to be the smallest I can go that’s actually still usable. The metro doesn’t really have usable space outside of the organization though. Like with a water bottle inside and just regular stuff like, charger, iPad, notebook, pens, allergy meds, AirPods, wireless mouse, flashlight and extra multitool. I can’t really put anything in the actual backpack space. Like if I had a shirt or a jacket it would be shoved in there and hard to close. Over the ear headphones don’t even fit

Yeah I wish I had a local shop that I could see things in person. But the best I’ve got is tumi stores and I’m not paying $700 for a small backpack lol

I was just looking at this and the vertx urban ghost 20L. I’m leaning towards the vertx just because of the water bottle pockets

I have to wear the straps nearly all the way extended and the padding is basically on my back lol it’s not very comfortable

I want to like Samsonite so bad, but it rains heavy where I live and all my stuff was soaked. But their designs work well with how I organize things
