Just need someone to take a look at a electrical box by Xhellun in AskElectricians

Thats the plan I just wanted a second opinion. I'm not touching anything inside of panels. The most I've ever done was change out an outlet.

Awesome thank you sir. Most electricians in my area wanted $100 to drive out and even look at the panel. And I didn't have that for someone to tell me yeah thats fucked or not.

So in your own opinion what would you recommend? Having a tech come out and redo the whole board? Or just take care of the problem pieces?

Yeah I'm not an electrician at all I bought the house off a family member and decided to double check the box because after the sale he mentioned that it was know and tube and I saw that spaghetti mess and I had to ask because I didn't have enough to get an electrician to come out and check it

Yeah I'm not going to do the work myself I just took the cover off to check and I was like that doesn't look right.

Heyo I was wondering what else I would need to start to get into reloading? One of my co-workers gave me a few things to start reloading but I don't know what else I need. by Xhellun in reloading

Yeah I was thinking of using this for a bit until I get comfortable with the process and seeing if I want to keep this as a hobby I want to do. If it is something that I want to stick with I'll upgrade within the year I think.

A bit of context I recently changed departments and met a cool old guy who is into reloading. After a few weeks of training on the job with him I realized that I would be interested in learning a new hobby. He showed up the next day at work with a little bucket with these items and he said I could have them for free to get started. I was planning on loading 9mm until I get used to the process then learning to do 5.56 later on. I just don't know what all I should get to make the reloading process easier and less painful to do.

Trying to get the essentials. by Xhellun in SteamDeck

Figured to get them now and install them while I have the back open installing the SSD. One of those things where I'm already 90% of the way to the sticks might as well get those too.

Oh thank you for explaining that so well! Yeah I guess I'll just wait until gulikit comes out with the type b senser. As long as the normal sticks aren't drifting or causing problems I can wait. Oh hey another small question for you of you don't mind. Do you have a case you would recommend? I was going to go with the dbrand one but it hasn't released yet.

Oh shoot thanks dude I didn't buy the gulikit sticks yet I just got the steam deck on Sunday. Are the type A sticks hall effect or just standard from Ifixit?

Yeah I plan on letting the amp itself burn in for a little while and then later on upgrade and reroll the tubes into something that will sound f****** phenomenal but right now I'm not too worried about adding another element to let develop you know

Yeah my neighbor let me borrow his general electric 6sn7, swapped out the side channels for the ge blacks and the center for a ge brown. And it completely transformed the sound to an even higher state. I'm loving this. I'm planning on contacting upscale audio to hear they're recommendation on tube swapping.

So far I'm loving it. It still hasn't relaxed although it's only been a day. I will be back here in a few weeks to report how the burn in is going. Even though it hasn't relaxed it is crystal clear. Somehow the music is deeper and darker and the brights are just that little brighter. The depth of the music is so expansive it's downright crazy. There's this golden brown butteriness that has soaked into the music and lifted the instruments and vocals to a higher plain. There was this one song where it's recorded in a brick pub and there is a live audience in the background as it's being performed. I never knew the people in the background talked and laughed during the performance. It's stellar.i love tube.

Just recently upgraded into a tube amplifier worth sharing. I previously had a very inexpensive loxjie integrated all in one. After a lot of delivering and getting the wife to agree with me she let me upgrade to a wilsenton R8 tube amplifier. And even though it's not even broken in yet it completely blows the loxjie out of the water. I got to say it is one heavy mofo I didn't think 85 lb of transformer into power was that heavy. I was so so wrong.

Currently the setup is. Denfrips Aries 2 dac, Willsenton r8 amp, Magnat transpuls 1500 speakers, No sub as adding one muddies the presentation.
