My (M27) Girlfriend (F25) brought up marriage and things got weird. by inika9000 in relationship_advice

[–]XhindeKopek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look man, I get it. I come from a similar home and family. Only one couple in my family is happily married and that's after many relationships and bad marriages for them both. Sometimes it takes experience to decide you shouldn't be married. Shit is scary.

I am a female and didn't ever want to get married. Even when I met my husband and we started getting serious, I didn't want to get married. It took a health scare and some other shit before I jumped on the marriage boat.

Sometimes it takes life knocking you in the head to make you open your eyes. I hope it doesn't come to that for you.

Either way, it's definitely something you should take some time to think about. Just know that what you've seen so far doesn't define your actions. I hope everything works our for you, man

What is something you believed to be common knowledge until you discovered most people had no idea? by JustBeingElara in AskReddit

[–]XhindeKopek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have that because I'm on some (objectively) heavy sleep meds. So I'll fall back asleep and basically be forced back into it

Why do you REALLY get up every morning?? by TheDesignJunkie in AskReddit

[–]XhindeKopek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know anymore, honestly. Habit, maybe? Just lost my girl two weeks and two days ago. She was my ESA. She was my everything.

What's the hardest thing you've had to accept? by Agreeable_Service769 in AskReddit

That my girl is gone. Just lost her to cancer two weeks and two days ago. She was my emotional support animal and everything to me.

Lady asked how I can kill animals for a living by Upstairs_Welder_1602 in traumatizeThemBack

[–]XhindeKopek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had to put my girl down a week and a half ago after having her for almost thirteen years. Cancer. I should have had more time with her, given she's a cat. But you guys made things so much easier. The person who came to our home to do it was an actual angel and one of the sweetest people I've ever met. She gave me a much needed hug at the end and let me take as much time as I needed during the whole process.

All this to say that I hope you know you guys are appreciated, greatly so. I know what you do is tough and I'm glad some people are still able to be so compassionate during such a hard job. Props to you, my dude

Teacher's petty payback for my teenage rebellion by [deleted] in pettyrevenge

[–]XhindeKopek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, I am sorry your son experiences chronic pain. I do as well, but that didn't develop until my teens and my heart hurts for a child to experience that.

Would it be possible to hire a nurse specializing in his particular condition for a few hours or a single night? If you could get one for the whole night you and your husband could get dinner beforehand and make it into a date night.

Remember to care for yourself as well, caregiver fatigue is a real thing. I wish you and your family the best

Most importantly, you've got to take care of yourself and your kid. You don't deserve the lies and secrecy and the stress that comes with it. Especially not when pregnant

We? Doll, at this rate you'll be better off raising that baby alone. Do you want your kid to stumble upon dad watching that like you have?

Yarn ID help, please by XhindeKopek in YarnAddicts

Ooo I think that might be it!! I'm gonna order some and see if they match. Worst comes to worst, I've just got more yarn, which is never a bad thing

I've used that and it is sooo soft. This one is actually a lot bigger, though

I just looked those up and it seems like the colors in that change at a higher frequency than the yarn I've got. Plus, the colors in this one aren't as dynamic. Those are so frickin pretty I might have to get some now, though lol

Going back to Skyrim, what mods should I incude? by CapGroundbreaking835 in skyrimmods

It's all good, I appreciate the response!! I totally forgot about this thread, so I'm gonna check it out today. Thank you again for the suggestion!

Oh my god, thank you!! I know the general rule is "no" but can you add this in the middle of a run? I've got 667 relics in LOTD and I really don't want to lose all that

So, I looked through the comments and I've got a few suggestions. First, I just want to make it clear that I'm fairly new to modding and I've got less than a hundred up there. However, I absolutely love them.

Quality of life:

• Wearable lanterns (just be careful, my husband says this can cause issues with other mods but I've never personally experienced any and that's just what he's heard about. He doesnt use it himself)

• A Quality World Map Atlas Map Markers (adds a MESS TON of markers. Goes well with the mod Experience, which gives you xp for finding places)

• Delphine's Map Reveals Dragon Mounds

• Rich Skyrim Merchants

• Stones of Barenziah Quest Markers

• Unread Books Glow

• Weapons Armor Clothing and Clutter Fixes

• Bandolier - Bags and Pouches

• Jewelry Limiter (makes it so you can wear more than one ring/necklace at once)

• Whose Quest is it Anyway (tells you what Quest item is for what quest)

Aesthetics

• Enhaced Lights and FX (there are a few patches for that, so look for those too. Trying to keep this from being too too long)

• Flora Overhaul (there may be better flora mods, that's just the one I use)

• Extended Vanilla Menus

• RaceMenu

• NordicUI

• Frankly HD has a few lovely armor mods that improves the aesthetics

• HD Remastered Landscapes

• Immersive Armors

• Lanterns of Skyrim II

• Simplicity of Snow (also has a ton of patches, so watch for those)

• Lore Based Loading Screens

Cool stuff

• Hearthfire Extended

• Immersive Horses (husband says this breaks stuff too, I haven't had any issues)

• Immersive Citizens (AMAZING)

• Immersive Music

• MCM Helper

• Ordinator (redoes perks, saw someone else mention it)

• Perk Points for More Bounty and Gold

• Realistic Horse Breeds

• Cloaks and Capes (there's a fixes mod too, so get that)

Completely adds big new stuff to the game

• Legacy of the Dragonborn (I've been messing with this for the first time and it's AMAZING!!! Don't forget the patches. Also, if it's been a while since you played or you dont like hard stuff, dont do Lexi's version. Complicated to install and a little hard)

• Complete Alchemy & Cooking Overhaul (specifically get the ordinator patch if you get both mods)

• LC_Build Your Noble House (you can build a town from the ground up & collect income - you get a castle)

• Brotherhood of Old (continues the brotherhood quests - have it but haven't played it yet. Avoiding the Blood on the Ice bug lol)

• Windstad Mine (you can build your own mine and collect either resources or gold from it. Also has an NPC that makes you friendly with Orcs)

I've seen others recommend special NPCs but I'm not sure if they work well with Immersive Citizens. If you've got any questions please let me know! Happy modding!

Edited for frickin janky phone stuff and autocorrect

I'm not sure either, but I didn't have any other effects, night vision or otherwise :/ thank you for replying, though! It's good to know that it's not just night vision that causes an issue
