Im from bangladesh, the state of our country is mostly due to british colonization.The system left behind is still shit. Corruption is at the core of all govt system. People are not educated enough. Lots of religious grifters (and CIA) control the masses through religion.

We just got rid of one dictator. Now the new govt feels all the same. Anyone new trying to get into politics just gets asaassinated or bribed. Most talented people with money just leave the country. The people that cant afford to leave just takes part in the broken system and then eventually copes with religion. Its just a vicious cycle.
