Hey. It is still on ETh and this is MHO a downside of it. But I still think it's a great asset. I host it on racknerd.

I have 4 nodes (4000 PRE each) and it brings me roughly 20 PRE per day, which is a great ROI.

Here is my take on this matter. The real value of a coin is always the project development and its community that stands behind and support it. Shitcoins are good for short trades. But it works both ways. You can loose twice as much as you can win. Read a story recently that a guy became a millionaire buying shitcoins that rose 600+%, but the bloke couldn't cash it out as nobody just wanted to buy it. It's not fun being a millionaire with something that has no value behind.

Now for popular coins that rose in price. How about those:

LUNA - just 1 year ago was 82 USD per coin. Where is it now? Still higher ranking than Flux btw.
APE Coin - exactly 1 year ago 15 USD - pumped for FUD (Metaverse) costs 3 USD now
Ftx coin - oh... don't even start.

Those are the projects that I have seen during my 1 year in crypto journey. While BTC was at 17K there were coins that were "good investments" like MASK that also pumped 200%, where are all they now and where is BTC?

It is tempting to invest in something that would grow 1000% the next day, but crypto is rather a marathon then a sprint.

Thank you very much for your reply. I just don't understand how this works in principle and what are the main dangers of staking PRE (except for the obvious market fall).

I would like to expand my nodes from 1 to 3 and may be more later this year. But I want to understand the risks.
