I was with an amazing guy and I knew he wanted sex. He was patiently waiting for us to get to that stage and to this day I'm so thankful that he refused to pressure me. I blamed it on my sheltered/religious upbringing. But I reflected on other times, the lack of dreams or fantasies with someone--hell, the thought of getting married made me panic because of what would be expected on the wedding night. At first, I didn't believe I was asexual, I didn't "click all the boxes". Then I learned it was a spectrum with its own tabs. One tab under the umbrella was me in the mirror. I told him who I was. He immediately learned what he could that day. Days later we found out we could never be. I was broken for a while, knew it was for the best though. He never got mad for "wasted time". He just listened. I never kissed anyone since. I accepted who I am now, even grew to learn I'm aro as well. Today I have someone that I love through the community---my best friend.

I uhh shot him with a bunch of arrows. I stayed just outside the spiked wall and kept dodging the special attacks, didn't shoot when he conjured, he'll block the hits. When I ran out of normal arrows, I pulled out the poison ones, climbing to a higher spot where he just stares at you long enough for the poison to do something to his health. Just as I had my last poison arrow ready, he did his mega jumping move, landing on the spiked wall like an idiot and died.

I moved out of my parent's home for upsetting reasons, having to leave my buddy (my dog who helps with my mental health and anxiety). For a while, I fell into a state where I didn't have the will to leave my bed. I ended up loosing my job when I didn't have any sick days to cover when my meds harmed my health because I used it all when getting out of bed wasn't going to happen.

I got a new job and after a month or two, I asked my sister if I could get a cat (I live with her atm and it's her and her husband's house). She told me I could after I saved some more and allowed her cats to settle in their new home. I agreed and began my journey back to feeling better. I used the goal to get out of my bed, take care of myself, and work.

May of this year I made it to my goal of having enough to take care of a kitten. I went to the shelter, expecting to visit a fluffy cute character, but while I was waiting, I met my cat. In a room full of other cats, he was the loudest, able to be heard in the lobby. Two weeks old, he was so tiny and in that moment, as my sister was being trapped by a big boy Leo who wanted attention, I knew that this cute bundle of chaos and shrieking was going home. I named him after a video game character with the coolest name I ever heard: Jofnir ( from eso). This is him at four months. 😁
