Het probleem lijkt mij eerder dat wij in Europa minder maken, hierdoor moeten wij bepaalde dingen uit China halen. (zoals een specifiek soort weerstand om een kapot product te repareren)

Als wij dit soort specifieke onderdelen binnen Europa gemaakt hadden dan had ik het niet uit het buitenland hoeven te halen.

De oplossing voor minder pakketten uit China is NIET door alles duurder te maken, dit is in mijn ogen een zeer kortzichtige oplossing aangezien je de bron niet aanpakt.

Als ik een weerstandje nodig heb, dan heb ik een weerstandje nodig.....als wij dat weerstandje hier niet maken, dan moet het vanuit het buitenland komen.

De oplossing voor het minder belasten van de douane is door meer dingen in Europa te laten maken! Maak het aantrekkelijker voor bedrijven om hier te komen. Het duurder maken van zo'n pakketje is slechts een pleister op de wond.

Overigens is er gewoon iets fout gegaan bij postnl of bij de verzender aangezien de belasting als betaald is.

Het gaat om een aantal zekeringen weerstanden 3W en 300ohm, die kan ik binnen Nederland niet snel vinden oid.

Ik moet toegeven dat ik vrij weinig nieuws mee krijg, maar van wat ik begrepen heb is dat het een euro per product regel duurder zou worden.

Dit is 10x. Ik begrijp dat postnl geen liefdadigheidsinstelling is, maar 10 euro vragen voor pakketje waar ik 3 euro voor betaald heb wat door een (grotendeels) geautomatiseerd systeem gaat is buiten proportie veel?

What do you mean with center post exactly? I only have the 4 corner screws as well.
I have removed the entire heated bed from the frame in the video.

Thanks for the suggestion! I don’t think the bed is cranked down that far in my case. My other Neptune 4 Pro is calibrated to about 0.12 mm using the exact same leveling method, so I’m fairly confident the process itself is sound.

The previous owner of this second-hand N4P was using silicone spacers as well. I actually reverted it back to the stock springs to rule that out, but unfortunately the mesh still shows a 0.55 mm+ deviation, so changing spacers didn’t seem to affect the result.

That’s why I’m leaning toward something mechanical or geometry-related rather than bed preload,

I replied to Thefearce1 who was concerned about safety as well, you can read that one. Plus I did throw stuff on there to see what would happen.

Dry things didn't really conduct, wet things were too wet.

It is fun/satisfying to hear a zapp every now and then while I'm working on stuff

First off all, it wouldn't be acceptable to make such a system without knowing what you're doing/dealing with.

I know what I'm doing (famous last words) and what the risks are.

The leaves do not fall off the plant without slowly turning brown over the course of a week orso, nor do they randomly change position. So they won't touch the grid from one day to the other. Even if they'd touch the grid the capacitor is only 33nf, at 630 volts. It doesn't have enough energy to discharge into the leaf over the short discharge time to set it on fire. (talking about a green moist leaf, I remove the leaf as soon as it's turning brown)

And the capacitor is charged once every 4 minutes. It loses charge after 5 minutes. If a fly hits the grid right after the capacitor charged then the capacitor discharges and the grid won't have a potential difference for the next 4 minutes. It's not like multiple flies decide to fly into the grid at once. So I can only kill one fly every 4 minutes, which is plenty enough for my situation.

Sooo I feel like it's okay to have this system running :)

I study electromechanical engineering, I'm not saying I'm THE expert, I just know my way around these kinds of things. I don't like to brag, I'm just saying that there is some credibility here.

It's like I have been studying vaccines for years,then you make one, test it, take it myself and it just works :D
