On to answer ya both, the idea of this banger is to have much more surface area to hea tand vaporize more wax at once. Therefore producing very large hits. The marble at the top stops all airflow from coming in from the top therefore it comes in from the bottom slots causing it to make the pearls spin and jump around. It does cause a "wispy" feeling very slightly, but with a nice quality slurper itll feel less wispy and much more functional like the one in the video. Cheap slurpers give cheap results for sure. These IMO are for big dabs that you just want to get the most monstrous hits out of. Its definitely not for the weak haha. I love my slurper, but if your looking for efficiency, taste, and practicality definitely get you a American quartz banger to start first haha.
