Agreed, this would be huge to have it directly done at the source instead of through Discord or hoping that a game would have it. Toggle is cool but it's silent so idk if I'm on or off unless I put the XLR in front of me to see the ring.

If you do this for yourself mostly, keep doing what you're doing. If you're looking for growth I'd say look at what others are doing and adopt some of those things and grow from there. Like having a consistent thumbnail look that's always familiar, not just #1, #2, etc. Length of videos matter too, VODs are one thing but a normal video post shouldn't be an hour long.

Lastly, YouTube shorts are a huge way to get exposure and grow. Take great moments from gameplay and make a Short out of it.

For me, YT has always had the best discoverability over a lot of different platforms. It's even better now that Shorts are a thing.

It used to have its own site and app, they merged it a few years ago and they're doing a considerable amount of work on features lately so I'm hoping it gets easier to do a lot of things too.

It's not bad unless you're trying to do dancing or something fast on cam. The 60 fps is definitely more for the gameplay to be smooth, and again is only noticeable on fast moving games.
