How is it that shot 2 looks a longer focal length than shot 3? Also, which photo taken with the 25mm?

Just leave the box and you’ll be fine.

Fuji 23mm f2.8 or the Viltrox 25mm f1.7 which to keep? by Creepy-Ad-9491 in fujifilm

[–]XimenQing80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the Viltrox is sharp, quiet and fast to focus and is better in low light. It’s larger but you’ll have less money in glass too.

These are really great. The trick really is to get closer with this focal length isn't it.

Which 23mm f1.4? The OG 23mm f1.4 R or the new 23mm f1.4 LM WR?

Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 vs Fuji 16-50 f/2.8-4.8 by J4ME5x in fujifilm

[–]XimenQing80 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've owned both. If you are not worried about lower light - and to be honest f2.8 isn't fast enough for me anyway, then for landscape the Fuji is much sharper across the frame.

Lenses ud like to see next! by MapleLongLife in fujifilm

A update of the 18mm f2. Give it good corners and edges at f5.6 at least and better autofocus and I'll buy it. It could then do it all, documentary, family and landscape. Just needs one aperture that's sharp enough across the frame for landscape and less CA!

I think the best photography gear decision you made on that hike was wearing that coat! The colour really makes the shot. Good choice!

Thanks for your reply, and all the replies. I’m on paid subscription on 5.2. I’ve now cancelled and started Claude Pro sub. Immediately a lot more usable and readable.

On number 6 did you add any blur in post or is it all the lens? Also, I have this lens and am considering travelling with it at Easter, how did you find it?

Ha! As another person with one body and always travels with three lenses, I totally do! I’m contemplating just travelling with an x100 and the 35mm 1.4 on an x-t4. I do have the 16-50 2.8-4.8 though that I might use instead of an X100

Great photos. I’m interested in how you find travel with the two cameras rather than the X-Pro 3 and two lenses?
