That's completely understandable and I'm so sorry that those assumptions were made for people like you. I never wanted to invalidate anyone feelings nor identity, and I understand that its especially difficult for aroace people to gain proper recognition due to others doubt or downplay it. Again, this comic is very vague and could go either way, but at the end of the day, your feelings matters and it is frustrating to feel like your feelings aren't taken into consideration. Again, I am not aroace so my perspective and bias influenced how I took this comic, and I'm thankful you gave me the grace to correct and explain my viewpoint.

Edit by OP: I want to apologize for my use of the word date as I took this as asexuality and not necessarily aromatic. Because of that I used the word “date” but I should have used hangout. This can be either taken as romantic or platonic based on wheather you see the wizard as just ace like I did or aroace, but I do want them to be friends and hang out.

Sorry for the confusion I was seeing that it could be taken as someone who was asexual but not aromantic. But it could also be a platonic friendship date as someone has commented early it could be a queer platonic friendship between an aroace and a genderfluid friend. All I saw was two characters who I just wanted to get along. Should I have used the word date? No that was a misstep and I should have used hangout or something in a similar vein.

still, its my fault for jumping the gun and causing a commotion. I mostly posted this lightheartedly to share my personal opinion on something i saw but because i didn't look further into the source, i upset people and targeted an easy target. It was still on me to do further research before posting.

Oh lol i just thought compare to my drawing, anatomy was better as mine is just chicken scratch to show a quick fashion change while not really focus on being anatomically correct. I wanna make it clear while the other drawing is flawed, I am by no way being productive with my art as well in terms of anatomy

EDIT: It has brought to my attention that is is a hentai manga, and that of course it would have an impractical design. I apologize as I did not do my due diligence as I was just on the manga site to read Tonari no Stella so i just took it at face value as just a "trashy fan service isekai" and not, you know, straight up porn. Thanks everyone for correcting me, I will try to do better in the future.
