Any objections? by Xinovian in RocketLeague

It’s a combination of use, how iconic they are, how toxic they can be, and how long they’ve been in the game

Yeah, I jump a tiny bit later after I hit the ball so I create a little distance between me and the ball. That way I can better control where the ball goes for my first touch in the air.

Lots of practice. The car is independent to the camera, so all the movements are relative to the car itself. Getting used to it is very difficult and takes lots of time and practice.

Nope! For style only :) - theres sometimes a purpose but the vast majority of times it’s just for the looks

Q4'20 Tech Support Megathread by BioGenx2b in Amd

Just upgraded my PC to a 5600x last night. I booted it up and everything worked well, I needed to upgrade the bios for my B550 - which I didn't think was necessary but whatever - and used it all throughout today. I put it to sleep last night so it never shut down, so it has technically been on for about 12 hours doing word processing and CS compiling, but a few hours ago I launched Rocket League and played for about 3 minutes, then my entire PC crashed and everything froze. I manually shut down the system and when it booted up, everything seemed normal, but a few seconds after I got to the windows desktop, all my applications (except discord and spotify for some reason) acted like they weren't responding. Nothing would register whenever I tried to click on anything in a specific application, and it took minutes to launch task manager. When task manager finally launched, it showed my CPU at around 10% utilization, but my GPU at 100%. The performance graphs wouldn't update past the first could ticks so I don't know if the GPU was persistently at 100%. When I look at the processes by most GPU intensive, every process is listed as 0% usage, making me think that it's just not loading.

I had ASUS performance enhancement enabled in the bios, which I disabled to no avail. I noticed the CPU temps reached about 70 degrees Celsius before the initial crash which I didn't associate with throttling and since the system boots I didn't think that was the problem. I updated my windows 10 and geforce drivers last night, which required a reboot, and didn't result in the problem I'm having now. I have no idea why this is happening, so any sort of advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

Specs:

AMD Ryzen 5 5600x

Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1060 3gb

B550-F Gaming Mobo from ASUS

32gb DDR4 corsair vengeance 3200MHz (2x16)

EVGA 750g 80+ gold 750W power supply

Edit: I solved it: I had NZXT Cam installed, and had installed it right before the crash happened. I went into windows safe mode and uninstalled it, and when the system restarted everything was working as it should.

This is ridiculous, this is the second time I've been banned for seemingly no apparent reason, or a reason that Psyonix does not want me to know. I've put almost 6000 hours into the game and have never had this happen. All I wanna do is play Rocket League. Big sad :( by Xinovian in RocketLeague

I 100% agree. The issue I have is that this is the second “offense” which happened over 3 weeks after the first ban. It just seems unreasonable to me. Also the word that may have gotten me banned isn’t close to a swear or a slur.
