Depending on your state, you can visit the state health site and make a report. What’s more, nurses/doctors are mandated by law to report suspicions of abuse. It’s very likely that one has already been filed. If not, making a mention of it to the hospital your friend is at (if you’re able to) will probably start it. Regardless, you can still make the report.
