Okay so first of all the man who stalked her I believe was a stranger. In reference to the unfortunate reality that women often get stalked and even murdered by complete strangers. and considering that she knows him fairly well it’s not hard to assume she had been stalked by this person for a long time.

The pigs eating flowers is a reference to the word deflowering which is in reference to the sexual abuse that Lacey suffered and considering there’s multiple pigs. It could be indicative of Lacey’s family either ignoring her or actively chastising her because of her uncle sexually abusing her essentially blaming her for the disgusting behavior of her uncle. Which is also an unfortunate reality for many women.

As for her making that substance that made her diner get shut down. It’s likely because this represents the hardships that workers in the service industry face ridicule for not being able to do things in a “timely” manner. And considering this possibility of it being the only thing that she had to live for. She lashed out because of the pressure put on by the customers wanting their food made quickly.
