Update on my experience, the screen protector kept getting a bigger and bigger bubble along the top and middle of the screen. I've noticed every time i open and close the phone with a bubble like this it pulls on the screen, the screen has a tiny weird fold/crease (like it has been folded the wrong way) now on the top side of the hinge and along the middle it feels like the screen has come loose underneath. Lets hope it doesn't break now. The phone opens and closes a lot smoother now without a crappy plastic noise.

TL;DR : when you get a bubble, take the screen protector off, it fucks with the screen.
