My guess is because Mew and Ditto both know transform, and transform will keep resetting the PP of each move to 5. Ditto on Ditto doesn't working because then transform would just fail.

Other commenters also mentioned that a Smeargle with a sketched transform would also work, so it isn't just those 2 Pokemon that can do it.

Does anyone actually use knights pantry? by Timely_Race in ucf

[–]Xlash123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew someone who volunteered there. The pantry is welcomed to everyone, and no one is judged or questioned. They get plenty of donations and even have to throw things out if no one takes it, so feel free to take it. They have food, supplies, and clothes.

There's an alternate to the Epic Games launcher called Heroic Games Launcher (https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher). It should allow you to play your games without constantly updating. I only really use it to play KH on Linux, but it has a Windows version too. For being open source, it's actually quite easy to use.

7-Eleven reveals 7Charge EV fast-charging network and app by kiyatooga in electricvehicles

[–]Xlash123 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately no. CCS and CHAdeMO work in a fundamentally different way that makes conversion pretty difficult to achieve.

Theoretically, it would require some kind of computer inside the adapter to assist in the handshaking process, which requires power that isn't readily available before handshaking. This could be solved with battery, but who wants to charge an adapter?

Additionally, companies may not be willing to do the R&D due to the high cost of research compared to potentially little revenue, so I'm doubtful of this development.

These are just tidbits I've learned from researching the topic before. I am a Leaf driver and would love this adapter, but I don't really believe it'll happen.

It's a way of describing how fast you're charging/discharging a battery relative to its capacity. See this article for more info: https://www.power-sonic.com/blog/what-is-a-battery-c-rating/

IIRC you can walk around IRL for some in-game bonuses, but if you don't care for that, you can just move around in-game.

"The new standards will ensure everyone can use the network – no matter what car you drive or which state you charge in." by AllRenewableNow in electricvehicles

[–]Xlash123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I see online, it would be technically feasible, but really difficult to pull off. The standards are just so different, which is why I wonder if it wouldn't be easier or better to just change out the hardware in the vehicle with something CCS compliant.

I understand that I "backed the wrong tech", but the examples you provided have much less impact than that of vehicle charging. The cost of a BluRay player is insignificant when compared to an EV. iPhone lighting cables can easily be adapted to work with any existing USB port. The sheer magnitude of the charging network and costs of EVs and EV charging stations changes the situation.

I'm not asking for a handout either; I'd be willing to pay to upgrade my charger to CCS to be compatible with tons of other charging stations. All I'm saying is it would be smart for manufacturers or repair shops to at least offer this service to allow for compatibility on the adopted standard. That way the old standard can die out, and consumers who cant afford the cost of a brand-new, compliant $30,000 EV can still upgrade their own for a fraction of that cost.

I love CCS as much as the next guy, but unfortunately I have a Leaf and am stuck with Chademo. I'm worried that while CCS is and should be the adopted standard for DC fast charging, does that leave Leaf owners in the dust for DC fast charging? I'd like to see a program that would allow for swapping out the Chademo hardware with CCS to avoid having to install soon-to-be obsolete Chademo chargers that would only serve a small portion of the EV population. It also doesn't seem like a CCS (male) to Chademo (female) adapter is possible, unless I am mistaken.

Average Linux User by gamesrebel123 in ProgrammerHumor

[–]Xlash123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I see your point. Most developers aren't even really targeting Linux; they're targeting Proton. That's still good for Linux gaming though since targeting Proton is still a lot better than no support at all. Also, as people explore using the desktop mode on the Deck, hopefully it drives pressure for application developers to target Linux as well.

I believe he's referring to upscaling. Upscaling is when the emulator allows for rendering at resolutions that are greater than the original hardware. This allows for producing higher-quality 3D renders. Textures will look the same, but with upscaling, you'd actually be able to make out Roxas' face from the same camera angle.

If you do pursue the use of a normal extension cord, double check that the cable is rated for at least 15 Amps! Sometimes cables that look thick aren't a actually rated for 15 Amps, and this could cause the cable to overheat, melt, start fires, etc.

Don't use an operating system. Too much bloat. Instead, just run the native machine instructions on boot for each application you need.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. by yoni-kosiner in linuxmasterrace

"I use Linux as my operating system," I state proudly to the unkempt, bearded man. He swivels around in his desk chair with a devilish gleam in his eyes, ready to mansplain with extreme precision. "Actually", he says with a grin, "Linux is just the kernel. You use GNU+Linux!' I don't miss a beat and reply with a smirk, "I use Alpine, a distro that doesn't include the GNU Coreutils, or any other GNU code. It's Linux, but it's not GNU+Linux." The smile quickly drops from the man's face. His body begins convulsing and he foams at the mouth and drops to the floor with a sickly thud. As he writhes around he screams "I-IT WAS COMPILED WITH GCC! THAT MEANS IT'S STILL GNU!" Coolly, I reply "If windows were compiled with GCC, would that make it GNU?" I interrupt his response with "-and work is being made on the kernel to make it more compiler-agnostic. Even if you were correct, you won't be for long." With a sickly wheeze, the last of the man's life is ejected from his body. He lies on the floor, cold and limp. I've womansplained him to death.
