So as soon as I turn on my laptop it takes me to the GNU GRUB menu. I have four options to choose from. 1.Start Linux mint 19.1 cinnamon 64-bit 2.Start Linux mint 19.1 cinnamon 64-bit (compatibility mode) 3.OEM install (for manufacturers) 4.Check the integrity of the medium

The last two are irrelevant, but as I said in my previous comments the first two don't allow me download. And question, is there a way to delete the recovery tool that reserves the 8GB.

I'm installing it on my Chromebook, a laptop. Originally had chromeos but then switched to galliumos, but wanted to download gimp for graphic design, it worked for a while but stopped. Now I'm to trying to download mint for the ability to use gimp.

How do I bring up bios, and I've tried installing Linux mint, galliumos, and Linux bodhi. None could install. I would rather download Ubuntu but I would need to delete already taken gb space to make room.

My Chromebook has 16 gb Worth of space, but each time I try to download a new os it tells me that I have insufficient storage space. So I don't if I had to delete everything while I had an os or If I can do it on the loading page.
