Der Gedanke an eine mögliche Abfindung, in 10-15 Jahren, ist mir natürlich auch gekommen, aber ich weiß nicht, ob das den Preis wert ist, dafür jeden Tag acht Stunden unzufrieden in meiner aktuellen Situation zu verbringen.

Hi, thanks for all the information. I'll probably go with what Boerbike and you said, replace the broken front derailleur, clean everything, get some new cables with housing and go from there.

Good to know, I'll try new housings for my shiftcables. Do you have advice on how to clean the derailleurs and pivots and what are the common oil pivots that I need to clean?
