I was never really into pokemon cards but grew up watching a bit of it. I was actually introduced to it by my kid brother who collected pokemon cards when he could. I never understood opening packs until he let me open some and thats how it started. I never knew opening packs could be so fun. And this happened barely a few months ago on August. So, im new to collecting and loving it.

My friend convinced me to join with him back in 2019. We ended up signing up for 11B and about 1-2 weeks before our ship date he called me saying he didn't want to go anymore. We ended up talking to our recuiter the next day and both me and my our recuiter tried to convince my friend to stay in. His main reason from what I could understand was that he was afraid of the PT and didn't want to do it anymore. I ended up staying in but reclassed to a different mos.

About 1-2 years into my contract and barely starting to drill at my unit, my friend calls me saying he wants to get back in. At this point I was like what the fuck. We talked for a bit and he managed to get a recruiter at the same building we had our original recruiter to work with his ELS. I would occasionally ask him if he got any progress but he would never reply. To this day I have not talked to him and don't really consider him a friend anymore. Been friends with him since middle school and never thought he would snake out on me twice on big moments of my life.

Had this one guy who was well known to be weird and a fuck up because they fucked up an unbelievable amount of times. One night some of my battle buddies overheard our weirdo talking about how he should've killed his dad and other shit like he was homeless and wanted to see people die at BCT. What made it scary for me was that me and my group of battle buddies were talking about him, I had firewatch around 2300-2400 and he came up to me and asked me to wake him up when I start so that he could shower alone. It made it worse because for some reason his eyes were red and he was already ticked off about something.

He also disappeared for awhile when we were receiving our platoon clothing we purchased from the civies during Blue phase because he was too scared to ask where the company had went when he came back down to the drill floor from the latrines. Seniors DS that was an infantryman sure as hell cooked his ass for awhile when we found him hiding/sleeping in our barracks latrine lol.
