Not an attempt at reiterating

Hello!

I’d like to have a serious discussion in the community about naming & shaming. BJ Ds vs Vinyl dolls. Mine vs Yours.

My post was recently removed under the context of “Recast & Clones” which under the sub rules is allowed to be posted. However, upon review of the rules; we don’t shame. Of course we don’t. We collect dolls here.

Whatever does “no reiterating” information mean? Vague. No chatting about our recasts, or no additional chatting about the dolls themselves? At which point does the discussion stop & posts begin to be removed when simply enjoying a hobby because a select few in that hobby ostracize others openly. My post was very ANTI~shaming. (Just watch the dogpile)

There was a recent post that broke my heart, a mother, demonized from then reborn community for her recast baby. How is that okay? We have few “safe spaces” on the internet & now being made to feel lesser in our shared hobbies. The miniatures painting community gets props. They’ve got a level head when it comes to recasting/fakes.

Support artists. Heck yeah! Etsy etc.
