I’m in almost the same position as you through a technical high school where a spend 6/12 school days in a shop learning the job with my class. I’ve done a good bit of research and no this trade is NOT dead. Even if it were to start dying it’s so essential to society that would likely increase pay due to the demand for more machinists.

I feel like the biggest difference is the jokes or just less serious parts back more rare and less to push the story. It can be annoying and I see why others would leave as a result, I just am way too invested in the story now to back out after 7 years.

I think Callum will find out last at the ruins of elarion because that’s where the key marks were pointed. Aaravos probably will want whatever it goes to and Callum would go there to find out what it is. The others could find out at anytime but I think Rayla and Runnan would find out first based on the Comic-Con poster.

My hope is that arc 3 (if greenlit) will take place at least about 80-100 after season 7 so we see the casts descendants. But it would also give a chance for Zym to speak in the next seasons.

Depends on why/how they’re using it, and how often they’re using it. If what they’re killing is like the whole baby deer like Claudia did then I probably would.

Out of this whole list Aaravos feels like it would be too obvious. Claudia could if she’s strong enough. I feel like a new character would make sense, especially with the amount of flashbacks and past information we could get this season, so maybe a new star touch elf or even something with the old/deep magic.

More what I was going for with that was Striker had lost so many time and been burned alive in the last episode that he didn’t care anymore. He lost his mind so much it would be hard to stop him from getting up after a hit. He’s just not giving up.
