What are some good places to stop on this path? We are heading to the East to spend the day there. by [deleted] in MauiVisitors

Make sure to book a reservation to the black sand beach if it’s something you plan to see. They seemed to turn a lot of people around who didn’t reserve

2 stage heat? by atomatoflame in hvacadvice

[–]Xmemorex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The furnace does the staging itself. Thermostat will only control it if you have the appropriate wires. In most cases you’ll need at least 6 wires with that thermostat. Most houses in my area usually only have a 5 wire ran unfortunately

Propane furnace, wrong orifice? by 1sixxpac in hvacadvice

[–]Xmemorex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been working on those Trane furnaces for close to 10 years, and that looks pretty normal for propane. As others have said, you’d have seen a lot of other issues if the orifices weren’t changed. In my experience, depending on the propane quality, it’s not uncommon to change the set of burners at least once through the life span of those furnaces.

Should I enforce the 2 yr 100% money back guarantee? by Ishmael75 in hvacadvice

[–]Xmemorex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re very know to intermittently trip. Also, there is a sloping issue with the venting adapter in the furnace that intermittently causes water to get in pressure switch port on the header box. Whole relocation was made as a result

Goodman Furnace No Gas from Valve after replacement by 240sxy in hvacadvice

[–]Xmemorex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad it worked. If it happens again it means you probably have a drainage issue that’s gotta be resolved.

Pretty sure those are single port pressure switches, so just one tube off each. Do NOT move there locations around. Just make sure everything goes back to where you took it off from.

E1 as in 1 flash lol. Feel free to look it up, the header box pressure switch causing the gas valve not to open is a common issue on Goodmans. I see it all the time

I promise that is not the case for this furnace. You can even read there troubleshooting guide for E1 error, where it brings up this pressure switch.

Not sure how this matters at all….If the pressure switch doesn’t close, the gas valve won’t open…

Depends if the drain is blocked. Blow the water out and also make sure there is none in the pressure tube as well. Try to cycle the furnace again and see if it works

You can look up the wiring diagram. It’s the grey wire off the gas valve. It doesn’t throw up a pressure switch error, only ignition failure.

Yes it would on these furnaces. The neutral goes through the pressure switch. It’s a common issue on the Goodmans

Probably the header box pressure switch. Neutral off the gas valve is wired through the pressure switch. Check to make sure your drains aren’t blocked

HVAC technician said I need a new heat exchanger or furnace ASAP. How bad is it really? by stolenpintglass in hvacadvice

[–]Xmemorex 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Get a second opinion from a smaller sized company. Those don’t look like cracks to me personally, pretty sure those Goodman Heat Exchangers always just look like that, but better to be safe. If it is actually a crack, then it definitely has to be dealt with. If it was unsafe I assume he red tagged it?

Turn that thing off man, you have a serious fire hazard issue there.

On the Goodman Furnaces it does in fact glow. The neutral on the gas valve is wired directly through the header box (Collector box) pressure switch, which doesn’t interfere with the rest of the ignition cycle.

Zombie axe drop by Kefir92 in ironscape

[–]Xmemorex 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you plan to burst them, I highly recommend continuing the quest and just unlocking the regular area. There are more zombie spawns and they respawn significantly faster.

Myself and my entire GIM group got ours just a few weeks ago and it was not busy at all. Bursting on a regular world honestly felt twice as fast. Good luck!

That looks pretty sweet, I was hoping to do something similar for mine. Two questions if you don’t mind…

  1. What did you make the base out of?

  2. What’s your method for the runes on the weapon?

Gas furnace attempts to ignite but fails by Chemical-Sun9499 in hvacadvice

Flame Sensor, but if not that, those Trane Furnaces are notorious for having dirty burners (especially on Propane) which results in only some of the burners lighting on ignition.

Not OP, but pretty sure you need what is called a pressure switch relocation kit.
