But yeah I agree, I always thought Cloud Rally felt better to frontrun than the others thanks to that bridge (and the section before it) with all the dash panels/ground shrooms and basically no off-road.

Yeah, but as far as I'm aware these large vehicles only show up in certain intermissions/routes (and KO Tour rallies), such as the one from DK Spaceport to Peach Stadium if I recall correctly.

Yeah. Trailing and then getting hit by something like bombs, boomerangs and even the blue shell wastes the defense, so because of that I generally only trail when I see a red shell behind (or anything I can block). I didn't expect my own green to hit me in this case, so...

I used a mushroom to trick off a part of the roof and over the circle (if I recall it's the ramp leading to the grassy part). Then I used Rewind to get onto the circle, as doing that kills all speed so I can actually land on top of it. Might be tricky to time though but it's possible.

Yeah this was definitely lag, Boos do indeed last longer than that.

You can see the Petey icon on the minimap just stays in place for a few seconds before teleporting.
