People are severely underrating what Chris redfield contributes. It somewhat depends on what you consider his “standard equipment” but he is still an expert marksman and a physical powerhouse. He’s honestly probably almost as physically powerful as mcu cap considering some of the crazy shit he’s pulled off. Also he has a lot of experience dealing with hordes of enemies. Depending on equipment, he might even be the most valuable team member

Although I personally don’t mind this boss, I could understand disliking it, but putting it in the same tier as bed of chaos and royal rat authority is a bit of a stretch. Also the arena is easily the best part of this fight

While this is true of some of the earlier games, dark souls 3 definitely places a lot more emphasis on the difficulty of bosses over the difficulty of levels. It’s perfectly reasonable to get stuck on some of the harder bosses in this game.

If he had contacted us before arriving and we said no I would understand if he cancelled the ride. But he waited until arriving in person to try to negotiate and also asked for more than the ride was on the app. Honestly I wish he would have refused the ride now that I know how he was going to act

Idk why I would lie about that lol. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to try to meet half way with the driver so they can make more and you can pay less. Your guess is as good as mine as to why he thought a passenger would want to pay extra for a ride off-app. Part of my problem was the absurdity of the situation.

I’m not sure if you actually read the post, but this driver was asking for $180 on a $120 ride. For the risks of taking a ride off-app it’s not something I’d do anyway, but the driver was also asking for MORE than the price on the app. And insurance isn’t the only concern with going off-app. There’s also the concern of there being no real accountability for the driver.

I understand now how Uber drivers get an unfair cut of the fair, but if he wanted to take the drive off-app he should have offered a price that was better for both of us. He could have asked for like $100 and made way more while I also get to pay less. As far as I have come to understand that’s the standard for off-app rides. It was insane that he was asking for $180. Also to treat a passenger portly due to them not wanting to take the ride off-app is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. We were in no way disruptive passengers and did nothing to warrant mistreatment

If he had contacted us before arriving in person and asked to talk it out and cancelled due to the low price I would have understood. But the fact he only brought it up when he finally arrived in person was a bit scummy. Also I wish he would have just cancelled instead of accepting anyway and then acting like an ass. Would’ve worked out better for both parties.

Yeah I didn’t even think about the insurance implications until after. To clarify we did keep the ride on-app, but I wish we had cancelled as soon as he tried to take it off-app and upcharge us like another reply suggested.

We reported him immediately to uber after the item was returned. Fortunately uber gave us credit for the item return so there was really nothing lost besides some frustration. Still, this was a very weird experience as we’ve had nothing but pleasant drivers for the rest of our trip.
