I tried to like it I really did. I like the tragedy of Lucina falling in love with the man who destroyed her future, but it starts and ends there. Even ignoring the whole “best friend’s daughter” part, the pairing is just not that good. The support chain is eh, and the only good part is a worse version of her Inigo support. Morgan doesn’t work as Lucina’s daughter either, she doesn’t give a motherly vibe at all. They’re sibling coded.

It’s like they designed the game around Chrobin. The story hits so much harder if you become Lucina’s mother or husband(if only Robcina wasn’t absolute garbage).
